  1. Nice can you post baseline photos? I’ve been using it now 3x per week. No sides at all.
  2. I don’t believe there are any fibers. I don’t see how pomades or hair wax would make a difference, they’re not concealers.
  3. There’s nothing wrong with calling it a juvenile or mature hairline. That’s like calling someone “average” height instead of saying 5’10. The majority of the male population on earth follow the juvenile to mature hairline pattern. Almost everyone has the male pattern baldness gene in their gene pool. But their sensitivity to DHT varies, that’s why we have various degrees of baldness. The two extremes Norwood 0 and Norwood 7 aren’t common at all. Also, people outside of the hair loss community don’t have a clue what the Norwood scale is, so it makes it easier to say juvenile or mature hairline to the general public. Walking around and saying that’s a Norwood 2 hairline isn’t really feasible in real life scenarios. Now, If you wanna say non-receded vs. receded that makes more sense than using the Norwood scale.
  4. If you had a crystal ball and saw that your would never lose hair past Norwood 3 level, then yea go for a Norwood 0 hairline. The likelihood of anyone getting a hair transplant not losing more hair is 0.1%. The goal of a hair transplant and clinic is to set you up for a longterm result. A 60 year old man with a juvenile hairline and nothing in the back would look ridiculous, and no being on finasteride doesn’t mean you won’t continue to thin. Medications are not a cure.
  5. Looks awesome, luckily most bald men never have to worry about beard hair transplants. I have too much beard 😅
  6. The reason why juvenile hairlines are called juvenile is because the general population of males only have that shape and density when they’re juveniles. Mature hairlines occur to most individuals as they get older. Are there outliers? Of course, but those are exceptions not the rule. Patrick Stewart was balding in his teens, should we just start saying that it’s normal for teens to go bald? That’s the same argument.
  7. The donor or recipient? The donor you should be able to trim with clippers after a week. The recipient though, id agree only with scissors for at least a month.
  8. When you zoom in, you see the hairs are not staggered at all. I had a friend who had an HT in 2006, and it started to look like that as he lost more of his native hair. To me, this looks like he had a minor HT some years ago to augment density, and now the rest of his native hair have thinned out. Causing this peculiar look. He’s probably better off getting those hairs removed.
  9. Wow I’m surprised @Curious25 didn’t find this first, definitely an HT.
  10. It’s hard to say with these pictures, are you on medication?
  11. Personally, I wouldn’t do anything. I think your hairline looks perfectly fine, similar to Leo Dicaprio whose similar in age. No one’s looking at Leo and thinking he’s bald. It’s all about pros vs. cons. The pay out would be so small, that you’d probably be the only one that notices a difference.
  12. To me this looks like a perfectly natural mature hairline. Are you trying to lower it, or just reinforce it?
  13. @mandark86 You must reach at least ten posts before sending private messages. We had a lot of spammers sending our member's spam messages. If you have a question, ask it here.
  14. It doesn’t work that way, you need a compounding pharmacy to compound it into the appropriate vehicle. Liposomal silicone based vehicles seem to be the best option.
  15. Jesus is probably parting his thick hair like the sea.
  16. I don’t think low T would contribute to thinning. Though, low T itself isn’t good, regardless of age. It’s like balding. Is balding okay just because you’re 50? Now, I think its a good idea to try and raise your T naturally via exercise and diet and get retested. If you’re consistently in the 400s. You may want to consider TRT. As for hair loss, I honestly don’t see any hair loss at all. The meds are definitely working, you might be experiencing a seasonal shed.
