Based on xyon studies, daily use of topical dutasteride changed serum DHT levels by only 10%. Of course, this with Xyon’s siloxysystem gel. I believe Farmacia Parati is the closest thing for those in Europe. There were no side effects reported in the study.

Your experiencing shedding? I haven’t experienced any, I’m also thinking of bumping it to 2x per week next week. What do you need edited? I’ll do it for you. Our problem area is almost identical.

They’re probably not going to dense-pack. It’s possible to lower it that much, but with 1,100 grafts the density will be low. You’ll probably want another procedure to add density. IMO better to get it dense-packed from the start and be done.

2,000 grafts sounds about right. That will also allow you to place grafts further back so that you won’t have any gaps as you lose more hair.

Can you draw where you want your hairline? It would have to be enough to match your native density which is quite high.

I apply one dab, comb my hair parted and apply it in to the skin. I then comb my hair forward and rub it in to the crown. One dab covers my entire scalp. My head is small, so maybe that’s why.

Yes, shelf life is 120 days for dutasteride. That means that after 120 days the drug becomes less effective. By the way, many have complained about this lab on this forum. Buy at your own risk. The formula itself is good, but shipping has been an issue and tracking as well.

I believe the shelf life of dutasteride is lower. Even with Xyon who lab tested shelf life, they’re formula lasts 4 months vs. 6 months of finasteride. I think the best thing to do is to either use it more frequently 3x per week, or use a larger portion of it, so it doesn’t go to waste. It might not make sense to buy it to use 1x per week if you’re having to go through these issues on ordering it.

Never use beard grafts for the front. Beard hair is better used as filler hair.

I must admit after seeing these images there is a lot of growth, much more than I had earlier thought. I can clearly see where the grafts were placed in the same pattern, and the hairline shape. That said, given that most of these grafts are beard, anagen de-synchronization and later growth come to play. One of the issues of using just beard hair is the shorter anagen phase and longer telogen phase. I feel this is a good and interesting case study for anyone interested in using solely beard hair. Glad to see Eugenix offering top-notch customer care and standing by the patient 🙏🏼

Massive improvement.

I applied topical dutasteride for the second time yesterday. I’m doing 1x per week dutasteride, and 4x per week finasteride. TMI Alert 🚨 Sexual well-being: So, I think this is important to talk about, because let’s face it, we’re all using this topically to avoid sexual side effects. Thus far, my libido has been normal. Morning erections almost daily. Semen has been normal as well, not watery. Hair shedding: I haven’t noticed any shedding. I lose 3-4 hairs in the shower. Hair quality feels strong. No hairs come out doing the pull test. Hair thickness: Hair feels thick, though, I attribute this to oral minoxidil. Baseline: So this is my baseline. I’ve used XYON topical finasteride for 1.5 months. I feel like my crown has slightly improved, but too soon to tell. I’ve outlined the areas where I’ve received no grafts. This is of importance, because this is the area I’m looking to improve on dut. My hair is wet to illustrate more weakness.

If you can’t afford a decent surgeon, don’t get surgery. There are affordable options, but they’re not gonna be the cheapest.

I wouldn’t worry about the perceived gap. I’m sure there’s some shock loss in the surrounding hair follicles. Plus, when the hair starts to grow you won’t see any difference.

If I recall some of them switched to FUE clinics topical formula. The only reason I don’t recommend that one is because the compounding pharmacy has terrible customer service, and many have complained about it taking a long time to receive their shipment.

I recall a few users complaining about bad sides with minoxidil max topical dut.
