  1. Hey everyone, haven't really been active here anymore, but here are some 1 year ~8 months updates. Received 2,781 grafts by Dr. Diep. everything is great and couldn't be happier with the results. this picture is post-op, but this will give a good idea of my hair loss. I did not really experience any shock loss either.

  3. i change it up a lot, i'll post new pics tomorrow, but it's definitely always long on time and short sides. i don't like using much product at all and do the natural blow dry look.
  4. i didn't really take anything other than the otc vitamins i listed a few replies ago. i may have had a little where my receded hairline started, but that was it. result wise, you just need to be careful and follow the directions the Dr. gives after surgery, but the results are mostly dictated by the quality of surgeon and the amount of grafts you receive. I could have gotten as low as 2,000 grafts but got almost 2,800, the results of 2,000 grafts would have been a lot different than 2,800. So again, the more hair you put, the better results will be.
  5. well, you can't achieve perfection with any surgery, thats why i'm saying that. the right side density is a little softer than the left, if i had to nitpick. but yes, its a full head of hair and im grateful for it!
  6. nope, just vitamins. b-complex, biotin, mens 1 a day, and fish oil.
  7. here is a 1 year and 3 week post-op pic. had my 1 year post op with the dr. and could not be happier. are my results perfect? no, but overall it looks very good and i am beyond happy with the results.

  9. looking good, i have my 1 year post op with dr. diep tomorrow and i could not be any happier. your results will be great and dr. diep is a GREAT surgeon. i have been receiving compliments left and right on how good my results look. at around day 10 i started to gently rub the scabs with hot water when i showered and slowly shampooed the scabs away. you definitely want to them start getting them off at the 10 day mark.
  10. it kind of goes forward, but i blow dry it up. i used imperial matte pomade paste. it looks shiny because of the hairspray i used.
  11. looking good! just have to give it time, you've been through the hardest part. the next 6 months you will really see the hair grow.
  12. Dr. Diep did everything from a to z, just kidding. Dr. Diep did the extraction with my FUE and he also made the site incisions but the techs are the ones that put the hair grafts. Don't worry! His techs are talented and you will have good results.
  13. can I see your forum cop badge please?
  14. different forum my friend, i appreciate you being a forum cop though!
  15. Here is an 11 month/1 week update. Needless to say, I'm beyond thrilled with the results. this picture was taken about 1 month post-op, I had no shock-loss, this is only to show how my hairline was before the surgery. 6 month picture just for comparison sake.

  17. looking good man, hairs starting to grow!
  18. looks good! and the hair characteristics seem fine...
  19. honestly i don't think so. Most people would not be able to tell that you got an HT, but i don't think an HT would ever match this density. (assuming the patient had native hair density like this pic, but with receding hairline, for example, and got an HT) http://yourhairstyleideas.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/2-buzz-cuts-for-men-pictures-2013.jpg you really need to grow you hair out to get the full effect IMO. but then again, if you had just a slightly receding hairline and got 2,500 grafts, then yea, it would match pretty well, but just depends on how much hair you've lost and how much hair you're putting in. By growing hair out, you're able to maximize your grafts the best IMO.
