He hasn't made an update since July. The last post he made regarding a test subject was this, back in April: 'He is at 5 months post op ( injection of stem cells for hair multiplication ) and so far nothing happened as far as hair growth' So the test subject is at 11 months now; there should probably be an answer to the question over whether his hair has regenerated with doubling or otherwise. All the test candidates operated on at some point (Boldy, Tom Vercetti etc) all claim their procedures have failed at some time or other. I want to remain optimistic, as I was a year ago, but all the evidence points to this having failed. I hope I am wrong. I know Dr Mwamba is trustworthy and I have no intention of disturbing his work, but some kind of update would be nice so we are not in the dark

I'm pretty sure this failed. A year on and seemingly no sign of any result. On the contrary, the people on various forums who have had hair doubling have had no results. I appreciate that Dr Mwamba apparently looked into this but confirmation either way would be nice. His staff have stopped responding to emails about this. He must know by now whether this works or not...

just totally wrong and a massive slap in the face to clinics who posy dry before pictures and ones with similar (not contrasting) lighting have been really turned off by this clinic

Nice result Once he gets his crown filled in he'll look good. I think he could also do with a slight touch up either side of the forelock at the front as well.

Coverage looks decent but I would have expected more with that number of grafts.

So can we presume this failed then. A year on from the news that Dr Mwamba was attempting this and seemingly so sign of any results....

How can you tell? Does that imply that this is a best case scenario? I'm just asking as I'm giving thought into a HT for my hair line and don't want to end up disappointed!

Great result - excellent coverage and good density Is this a standard Lorenzo result or does this guy have unusually good donor / hair characteristics? I;m hoping that I will get as great a result if and when I eventually go in for surgery. Results like this make me hopeful of a good result but I'm nervous to proceed

Impossible to make a reliable comparison when before pics are wet and after pics are dry. The before wet pics obviously expose the loss more and the after dry pics conceal it.

In the case of the hair transplant, I really can't tell which are the before and which are the after pictures... His hair looks the same throughout

Sorry but I'm not a fan of this. It just looks unsightly. That isn't a criticism of Dr Lorenzo who is a great surgeon. I just think this guy should stick with the buzz look. He just doesn't have enough donor for a cossetically acceptable appearance of hair. EDIT - just seen that the last pics are pre-op so I will reserve my final judgement until after i see the results

Lovely work doc I love the softness of the hairline. The density is perfect as well. I have similar loss to him, (maybe slightly finer hair) so this gives me encouragement in addressing my loss. One question - is he on meds? cheers

Nice job doc! Why is it easier for Asians to achieve better coverage/density than Caucasians with fewer grafts? Is is mainly due to the texture of their hair or colour of the skin? Thanks

I've been a bit in two minds over some of the results using body and beard grafts but this is fantastic. Where do you come up with the accompanying music though!?

I'm not sure about this. I think he's lost far too much hair for a cosmetically acceptable look with hair. \i think he should have just shaved it.
