I wanted to have some fun with a before and after photo. I'm about 4 months and week today. The lighting is definitely favorable here, but no fibres. My hope is to have a hairline as defined as this in much less favorable lighting conditions once it grows to full maturity. 🤞

Wow! Patience @MazAB, it will look better in a few months! You already know that :D

    4 month update

Well folks. ..another month goes by and more improvement Im glad to report ..the subtle  touch ups have made a real difference with the temple points and widows peak continuing to improve and strengthen up ..its all very exciting as at 4 months the party is really only starting .. I’m attaching a breakdown of the total graft counts over the 3 procedures for those that are interested .

Been some journey that’s for sure ..and am so glad that I finally made the decision to pull the trigger and go get on that plane .

Wishing you all luck in your research and procedures to come .

Looking amazing as always @Zoomster, do you have any product in your hair in the above pics to tame the hairy situation? Like sea salt or some other spray?

  3. 3-Month Update

Overall on track for 3 months, I'm hopefully moving out of the ugly duckling phase, and looking forward to some growth.

The hairline, and front scalp where hair were transplanted are low in density, and hopefully I'll see some growth there in the coming months. My left temple has shed more than the right, so looking forward to that growth as well. I'll get a trim next week around the ears and back, as you all know those hair grow fast. I'm shedding some hair when I wash/shower, but nothing significant. So far, all looks good, and I'm relieved there is no bad scenario/outcome, @Eugenix Hair Sciences did a good job on my procedure, and I'm excited everyday as hair start popping!

Well the last two weeks was as good as my last time at Eugenix only just in a different way this time. I had an idea of what to expect and yet once again everything exceeded my hopes and aspirations. 🙏

I personally felt that after the last procedure one year ago that my scalp donor would be hard pressed to yield very much at all. However it had improved and to my delight we were able to extract 3,062 scalp grafts!!!🤩 On top of that we extracted an added 2,683 beard grafts for a combined 5,745 grafts in total. When you combine this with last year's epic surgery I have now had 14,468 grafts transplanted! Best of all was that Dr Pradeep wanted to put that hairline scar of mine to bed for good nearly as much as I did. Se he lowered the hairline slightly so that it now covered the entire hairline scar completely.🤩 Also of those 2,683 beard grafts extracted, 236 were used to farm into the old donor scars. It was interesting to note that last year we farmed in 232 pubic grafts into the donor scars. When my head was shaved again this time the bottom punch graft scar had disappeared! The top donor scar remained but it was much improved. So I'm now finally looking at a scalp that after so many years of my life since the age of 18 to be looking normal again. 🙌

To say that I am overwhelmed and delighted would be a massive understatement. On top of this I had the pleasure of meeting so many other patients and this time I got to meet most of the staff and doctors. Their is some incredible talent at Eugenix that encompasses all of the doctors, the technicians, to the communication and logistics team, to the drivers and support staff as well. In fact the best way to sum Eugenix up is just that. It is a complete team of pure excellence. It is a success story of being the sum total of all of it's parts. If you take one factor out (be it anyone involved) then the team would not be able to operate at the level that it does. I'll chime back in later but first I'll add some pics. Finally, I cannot thank everyone enough who I have met and communicated with on HRN. It is thanks to this great forum and all of the people who I have had the great pleasure to be friends with and to have them in my corner every time when the chips were down that made my repair recovery from being a scarred, Norwood 7 candidate possible. Quite simply I just wouldn't have had the courage to have gone this alone. I owe a debt of gratitude to HRN and to Dr Sethi, Dr Arika and all of the team at Eugenix.  🙏

Congrats on a great 2nd trip to Eugenix @Gatsby! The pics and experience bring back a lot of similar memories, Eugenix is like a well oiled machine (like a Tesla factory)...NW 3-7 goes in, and a year later NW0 comes out 🤯

It’s officially one year today! What a rollercoaster year. I’m happy with my results and my wife says the difference is night and day.

But I will admit that I don’t think this will be my last HT. My donor looks good, my beard looks untouched. I think one more HT focusing 100% in the crown and part line would complete the restoration. Right now I’m about 90% there, hair greed has set in.

I just started Xyon so I don’t know if this will get me over the edge, only time will tell. Currently, I don’t take more than 5 minutes to style my hair. I just use the sea salt spray and and I’m good. I will still use some fibers for going out to dinner, or special occasions. I don’t have anything in these pictures besides sea salt spray.

Happy New Years, this year will be even better. We have big plans for our community in 2023.

A little clip from my entire journey.

Congrats @Melvin- Moderator, and HNY 2023! Thank you for all that you do for us, and provide us with great content/videos, I've personally gained a lot. I'm looking forward to using sea salt spray when my hair grows out this year, perhaps please make a video on how you apply it and add volume to your hair to look so amazing!
