  1. Planning for a HT is hard but planning for the aftermath is just as hard:( Hopefully the great result in the end will make up for it:)
  2. As long as shockloss does not occur, 5 weeks should be fine. Everyone is different and some case people state that they go back to work within the week with nobody knowing. Will you be using Nanogen when you go back to work? I have even heard people use plenty of aloe vera each day to help speed up the recovery and subside the redness. Whilst some use nothing in fear of harming the grafts:confused:
  3. Care to share the name of the Doc? Sorry i misread your post and thought it was Dr Bhatti:confused:
  4. How the times are changing eh pal! a few years ago a Doc would of got slated trying to do an FUE procedure of this size. I honestly believe FUE is overtaking if not already has FUT procedures.
  5. This is my problem. I hope to go back to work or home without any signs of surgery, i am having FUE and planning to stay in a hotel for a few weeks until it subsides:confused:
  6. Really glad HDC have started to post their results on this forum. A top notch clinic from Europe:)
  7. e321x, Good to hear you are happy with your results. Who was your Doc? any pics?
  8. London79, The work looks great and Dr Bhatti is a good Doc, even though you had 5500 grafts which is massive for FUE, you had to cover a large area so you may need a 2nd HT. You shall know more in 12 months;) Did the Doc tell you what density he placed in the front, mid scalp and crown? You should end up with a nice improvement pal, so sit back and enjoy the ride!
  9. Another great write up:) I am looking forward to see how Reys and Mwamba compared, im guessing these 2 are in your bottom 2 so to speak but still great Docs. Tough choice you have to make, however you have chosen some great Docs so the outcome shall only be great:)
  10. Thank you for your response Dr Hakan. I am a big fan of your work and results posted on this forum:) I am unfamiliar with choi so sorry for all the questions! Regards
  11. Massive difference, and nice to hear the scar is impossible to see! clearer photos of the hairline would be great.
  12. Very nice, and for all that landscape to be covered he must be chuffed..he looks like a different person:) I'm still unclear if the choi is more prefable for asian patients with dark thick hair than patients with light/finer hair as the results you have posted are patients with dark/course hair. I understand the need for appropiate donor before a HT procedure but they is a blog on this forum stating the choi is preferable for asian/dark hair patients than patients with finer/lighter hair so was hoping for your opinion on this? As i have light/finer hair:( Regards
  13. This result is so good it cant be real! Chuffed for you.....Dr Konior bravo:) I will be honest, i have never looked into Dr Konior or hes results before but if this is anything to go by, wow. Spanker how is the scar?
  14. The HDC Cyprus Clinic is not well known on this forum, however it is a top notch clinic regarding FUE/FUT and one of the most consistent in Europe.Numerous results out there to be seen:) Your hairline looks great and early growth a big bonus. Cant wait to see this fully mature. Congrats.
  15. Bill, This is probably the best forum out there, and i like the fact, of all the effort you go through to recommend a surgeon, however the key word here is recommend;) I agree with the comments regarding Dr Koray, great FUE Doc in turkey and has many consistent results to be seen however like lorenzo some Docs struggle to have the time and effort to go through the process:(
  16. Pro-Hair is a decent shout, many results out there and no negative feedback i have heard, maybe 1 or 2. However it is a team of what pro-hair call 'super-tecs' who will do the procedure. Bisanga and Feriduni however are 2 of the best around in my opinion.
  17. Great that these clinics may start to offer SMP. I hope SMP is free of charge to patients who use these clinics and in turn scar may stretch or widen. Now that would be a great gesture....who is first:D
  18. Having second thoughts may save you from a poor procedure. Being certain however is another thing, i have not had a HT as of yet and have been researching for years and been gathering information as much as i possibly can, i am really close than i have been in years in regards to having a HT and will probably be having 2nd thoughts until the day of surgery! I fully understand your thoughts on a unnatural result or other complications that can occur, as i have them myself. And to be honest it scares the shit out of me:( Like Micky85 states....a bad result can and does ruin lives as he can well and truly testify, however a great result can change your life for the better in so many ways. It is a risk no matter what way you look at it, i guess it is about Minimising them risk as much as you can, starting by choosing a quality Doc:)
  19. Im guessing Dr Reys recommended 1500 grafts and Bisanga 2800! Looking forward to the report:)
  20. Thank you for your response, However I'm still unclear if the choi is more prefable for asian patients with dark thick hair than patients with light/finer hair as the results you have posted are patients with dark/course hair. 21. Dr Hakan, Please could you give me your opinion on this; The concern which i have, is the the choi is more suitable for asian hair, which is the general idea i have got when researching the choi. So does this mean that Caucasians like myself with lighter/finer hair have a greater risk of an unsuccessful procedure Do you have results of patients of Caucasian race with lighter finer hair, as the results posted by yourself which are great by the way, seem to consist of patients with darker and thicker hair:) Once again, welcome to the forum, a great addition. Regards
  22. Future_HT_Doc Great piece and has saved me from some research;) The concern which i have, is the the choi is more suitable for asian hair, which is the general idea i have got when researching the choi. So does this mean that Caucasians like myself with lighter/finer hair have a greater risk of an unsuccessful procedure:confused: Time to get the opinion of the new recommended Doc on here who uses choi;) Regards
  23. The more information you guard yourself with, the better chance you have of a great HT Wise choice regarding Belgium. Good luck.
  24. Bill great news, A talented FUE surgeon from Turkey, its been a long time coming:) Hopefully more surgeons like Koray and Lorenzo show more of an interest for recommendation. On wards and upwards!
  25. Good luck, I am really looking forward to your feedback when you get back, as this is something i wanted to do to regards of blitzing Belgium;) You cant really go wrong with any of these Docs in my opinion. Feriduni= love the hairlines and is a great Doc. Bisanga= great at FUE but like you say i feel he will suggest FUT if you need 2500-3000 but still a great Doc. Reys and Mwamba have positive reports and i think you may be surprised by them when you meet them:) Never heard of any negatives regarding these 2. Good luck and cant wait to read your report once you get back. Also enjoy the Belgium beer=best in the world;)
