  1. Really? So would a bad clinic try and save the native hairs? The reason i ask, is i have the same problem and do not know which way to attack it:confused:
  2. People running for charity who are seeking to help others out of compassion and yet become terrorist targets. Disgusting.
  3. HDC seem to be a solid clinic, i have seen quite a few results from this clinic and have been very impressed, especially in the last few years may it be FUE/FUT. Would like to know more about this horrific experience?
  4. Spend a few days researching this forum and just a hunch....i guess you may change your mind about this clinic. I have never heard of this clinic so can not really say if it is any good. Take a step back and research some of the recommended Docs on here. You are from the UK so i suggest to have a look at the Docs in Belgium, some of the best in the world and much better than the clinics in the UK. I could go on, but there is nothing better than gathering your own research and conclusion because in the end the final decision comes down to you alone. Good luck:)
  5. Looks good, sure the end result will be great:) How did Reid Crowley HT look if you dont mind me asking since he had he's done with Dr Bhatti last year? Cheers
  6. Arhhh the lasercomb....some Docs highly recommend it, however i have never used it but have been close to buying one a few times. In fact i think a Doc posted on here in response to a thread recently praising the lasercomb:confused: May work for others i guess.
  7. HARIRI, No confusion, Dr Hakan does use a micro-motor for extraction and the choi pen implanter for transplanting the grafts into the scalp.
  8. Bill, I feel it is my duty to provide the forum with a detailed account of my experience and monthly photos due to the fact of how much this forum has helped me within the last few years:) I will give him a hello and if there is anything you would like me to do/ask whilst i am there please do not hesitate to ask. Once again thank you for the kind words and support. Roll on May:D
  9. Looking good. The next few months will be good times for you:)
  10. Dr. Doganay uses an extraction tool called micro-motor with punches ranging from .7mm to .8mm in order minimize scarring to the donor area while harvesting follicular units. In his hands, transection rates and damage to follicular units during extraction and placement are typically minimal. Dr. Hakan Doganay uses the Choi pen implanter for transplanting the grafts into scalp . With the help of several experienced nurses, follicular units are carefully loaded into Choi implanter pens which have the size between 0.6mm to 0.8mm. Dr. Doganay then carefully places all the grafts himself into tiny recipient sites using the pen implanter. (Taken from website) Dr Koray uses manual FUE. Dr Hakan= 2 euro per graft Dr Koray= 2.5 euro per graft These prices are recent but please don't quote me on this:)
  11. I was really impressed with both Dr Hakan and Dr koray's results so it was a tough choice pal. Dr Hakan has been producing some great result on the forum and i have seen many others on international forums. It has helped with him being recommended on here and i have always received prompt and in-depth replies to my emails as i was quite wary of the Choi, however Dr Hakan seems very confident using this technique and assures me the work he can produce using this technique.
  12. No pal, although i have mentioned Dr Koray quite often on this forum as i am a big fan of the work he does regarding FUE.
  13. Cheers pal. will let you know how i get on with the hat situ and covering up since i am a few months before you:)
  14. I have finally committed to booking a procedure with Dr Hakan at the end of may. First of all thank you to this forum, has been a great help over the years and also Micky85 who has a great insight regarding FUE. I will be having between 2200-2500 grafts FUE and i fully intend to document everything on here for you nice chaps to give me your opinions;) Hair loss has bothered me for many years and really has changed me as a person, if successful i know what this could do for me. I want to be one of the forum members who's life has changed for the better due to an HT. Am i scared and excited? damn right i am, as all i can think about is the procedure going wrong even though i trust my Doc. To be continued.....
  15. ProHair have many results online, the owner of the clinic is Bart who is a strong believer of FUE which is handy since it is only an FUE clinic:D The Doc is Dr. Schraepen however they have a team of assistants who are called the super tecs! Which is led by sabine who has years of experience. And is quite hot;)
  16. Honest opinion, i would do some more research. Request to see results and patients. Good luck with whatever you decide.
  17. I guess i will have to spend a day hat shopping! The things people do for more hair.
  18. 1978matt cheers, i am also looking into a beanie or golf hat maybe, the hat you suggested look quite funky but does have air vents! I really do not suit baseball caps due to having a big head:o I am planning on travelling Europe after the procedure but my grafts come first;)
