hi Sunnycool3 sorry for delay been away. will be putting up some pics in the next few days. Things are going very well with hair. Very pleased with results. nice steady growth. Still buzzing it every few days...hahaha, didn't use to da that.

Thanks. Yes I did look at SMP but the FUE seemed a better option and gave me the possibility of having longer real hair. Plus financially with the competitively priced procedure in india it was FUE all the way. There's a lot of camouflage products that you can use convincingly even on shorter hair that colour the scalp and give a fuller look and it looks pretty natural.

thanks traction, your results look pretty good too. Yhe, I remember the itchy sheding stage. The worst is over...can only get better now

so 20 to 30% of the implanted hair shed......or the density overall looked 20 to 30 lower than I have now (and how it looked after surgery). the remaining hair seemed to carry on growing. But I'm no expert so I can only go on how it looked and not sure of the medical terminology etc. The end result for me was pretty much everything implanted stayed put or came back after shedding. A few grafts popped with banging into things, v annoying when it happens

Hi Augustya. I did shed but not as much as some other people I have spoken to. The areas I had done with beard hair had the least shedding but overall it wasn't very noticeable to the look of my head as I kept it short. It does freak you out when you notice the hairs on any white surface when you stroke your head but this soon stops happening. In percentage terms I would say around 20 to 30% for me...but it comes back.

hey Shane13, thanks for comment. planning on keeping it short up until after uk summertime. Maybe growing over winter to see how it turns out. Very long time since I had long hair so will take some getting use to.

Hi all. Apologies for the delay in posting. So growth was good after the procedure but I wanted my hair line tweeked slightly so managed to have another 380 put in around the front as I was scheduled for another trip out to India accompanying some family members. Dr Bhatti was kind enough to accommodate my wishes and scheduled me in for the end of May. I wasn’t completely satisfied with the original hairline, probably because I wasn’t completely sure what I really wanted. I was more concerned with being bald, growth, reputation and qualifications of surgeons etc. Dr. Bhatti was understanding and advised me on the new hairline shape and I also had a greater input with more definite ideas this time. We reached a good compromise and I am 100% satisfied now. I’ve not been on the forum for some time and was a little shocked after reading some of the negative comments about hairlines etc. My experience of Dr Bhatti has been a very positive one. I would advise anyone with reservations about his skill and expertise to meet him and look at his standard of work. In my opinion he is up at the top along with the best surgeons. Hope you can see the growth from the 1st pics. I wear my hair very short as you can see but will probably grow it longer after the uk summer if we have one. I’ve added a before picture for reference. And one to show donor area. It looks great in my humble opinion and I’m very happy with it and with Dr Bhattis work.

sorry I havn't got any recent pictures that make any sense in relation to my HT. I started shaving my head when I was around 30 so thats about 16 years ago. Only ever let a little stuble grow back , apart from a few inches before my procedure.

thanks, I think it was 60 to 70 on frontal and 50 per cm2 on crown. I think the highest density was in the hairline.
