Hi folks, Here is a quick update (4 months and 1 week). My right temple is still quite patchy but seems to be improving daily. It's now been 5 weeks since I have shaved my head and this is the longest I've grown my hair in nearly 3 years. The crown is also slowly coming in. I am still using dermmatch concealer to over the thin hair. I am very happy thus far and my confidence has greatly increases. Let's just hope growth continues over the next 6-8 months! Will get better quality photos and pics of the crown soon. Cheers!

Thanks for your comments Mickey! Hi JD, I've been on 5% minoxidil for the past 9 months (only applied at night) and was on finastride for 8 months, but I had bad side effects (contributed to depression and gave me gyno), and so for the last month have switched to Keratene Retard. Cheers

I'm not sure if it's just me, but I appear to have noticed improvement in the lower crown (hairs were not transplanted here) from 5 months ago. You an notice my crown dropping in these photos, but current photos in the post above appear to show less loss. Does anyone agree with this?

Finastride gave me gyno in my left nipple and and so I've since switched over to Keratene Retard pills and minoxidil. I ran 40mg nolva for 1 week, tapered down to 20mg for the following 2 weeks and 10mg for one week. I've still got a small lump but it's much smaller than what it was.

I had a couple of massive pimples on my crown that had some blood in them.. nothing to worry about!

No worries mate. I guess it's one of those things where it's pretty damn hard to know if anything is working or not. I'll keep taking it along with minoxidil and hope for the best. Here's to the next few months of growth!!

G'day Stu Thanks for providing an update. Levrais is right in that the next 3 months should really show some good growth. You should have a great hairline soon mate! By the way, are you sitll taking the Keratene Retard Pills? I've been on them about 2 weeks now as I get sides from propecia. Cheers!

Following my procedure with Dr Reys in Belgium, I didn't wear any sort of hat or bandage. He said to me the best way for it to heal was for it to be out in the open and not covered up. I was out in public on holiday in the days post procedure and did not catch one person staring at my head the whole time. To be honest it's unlikely many people will even notice! I would agree with Mickey, in that one month is probably a good idea. You are going to be heading the ball and may cop some contact to the grafts when you play so I would definitely not rush back too quickly.

Off the top of my head I can't remember the first station to get off at, but I have those details written down so can relay them on to you. All up though I tihnk it was about 90mins from the airport to Heist-Op. The walk to the hotel in Heist-Op from the train station is about 15mins, and is on a nice little strip with several restaurants and a few shops. I stayed in Brussels for two nights following the procedure, then caught the train to Paris (stayed there for 3, and then another 4 nights in Switerland). Any more questions feel free to ask away. Nothing to worry about at all! It looks more pronounced because of all the scabbing. Once all the scabbing is off it will not be detectable.

Hi Hariri I've been following your progress on another site I'n contemplating a 3 month supply but obviously there does not seem to be heaps of info out there as the product is so new. Has anyone on the Keratene Retard got their DHT's level checked?

Hi folks, Does anyone else have any experience with Keratene Retard? I'm looking to combine this with 5% minoxidil. I've been on and off Fin for a number of years but have had issues with depression and gyno... wouldn't surprise me if Fin was the culprit!

Hi mate I am planning to have the temporary SMP done, although I am not sure if I would get it done by Milena in Italy or London, or travel to the US. It's annoying how Australia is so damn isolated!! Too much transit time! We flew to Doha Airport which was about a 11hr flight from memory, at the airport for another 3 or so hours and then another 7hr flight to Belgium. Cheers

Hi Stu, We are at similar stages mate (I am at approx. 8 weeks post-op now). Hang in there and hopefully the worst is behind us now. Based on my reading of donor shock loss I'm sure this shouldn't drag on too much longer for you. Hope all is well mate.

Hi mate, I'm at the 8 week mark and not a whole lot to report at this stage! Getting a few pimples here and there (and a few in the donor too) and lost majority of the implanted hair. Will try and get some pics up shortly. Cheers!

I shaved mine to a grade #1 3 weeks post-op with no issues.

Time for an update - put them up mate!
