I only went to see a basic GP. She didnt know i was on fin and at first just said it was random and should go away if i take ibuprofen. I then told her i take 1mg fin daily and she obviously then blamed that and said i need to either stop taking the fin, or keep taking it and try the ibuprofen. Obviously I agreed but i know ibuprofen isnt going to do anything whatsoever. I just really dont want to stop taking fin as i have had no sides for 5 months and was finally getting happy at the thought of my hair sticking around longer than it planned too. Ive read about maybe taking Fin every other day, this should allow a slight amount more DHT back into my system which might be enough to stop the sides? Thanks all for the help.

I have been to a doctor as was told its the start of gyno. Obviously there are no lumps there yet but this is the start of gyno. What do you think the DR told me. Obviously stop the Fin which is something i really dont want to do.

Hi folks, ive been running Fin 1mg daily for 5 months now and had no side effects (so i thought) Until recently i noticed my right nipple getting itchy and then sore to touch. I have a small pea sized lump under there as well. Obviously this is gyno due to excess estrogen in my body? How should i combat this situation? I obviously want to keep running the Fin to stop losing my hair but i cant be dealing with gyno. I was planning on running 10mg Nolva daily for two weeks to stop the gyno, but then im not sure what to do after this as ii think it will just come back? Reduce the amount of Fin I'm taking? Any advice would be great as it feels like yet again i have problems with everything! Thanks.

First of all thankyou for all the kind words. Its nice to hear that some of you don't think its too bad, even though in my head it is, lol! Im still not sure what to do, Ive said im not keen on a HT only because ive read that it is not wise to get it done around my age, ive no problem with actually getting one, ive just read its best to wait until i am older. To be honest id love it if i could just pay someone some money now, have surgery and have a perfect hairline for the rest of my days! Im really unsure about the finasteride idea now aswell after reading that it makes a lot of peoples hairline receed more and only sorts out the crown area? Its really put me off! I have also read that finasteride doesnt work as well as propecia? I have read this over and over yet it is the same thing? One guy was taking propecia, switched to fin for financial gain and his hairline got worse. All these things making the decision alot harder and making me want to bury my head in the sand again, like i have done for the past month Thanks for all the advice.

I was going to start propecia 1mg daily? Going to purchase it online as I don't know whether I would get a prescription from the uk. Can you recommend where I can purchase minoxidil? Is this basically rogaine? What do you think of nizoral 2%? Worth it or just minoxidil and propecia? I'm not sure what you mean by this? Sorry I'm new to all the abbreviations and stuff :confused: Thanks for the reply mate. Sadly I feel the only pictures that show off how bad it is are the ones where I tilt my head forwards. I just hate it, everytime I catch my reflection in something, the feeling drops in my gut and reminds me how much I hate having this hairline. I don't know my biological father however what I remember of him from when i was young is that he was bald lol! Well he had a skin head so it must have been bad enough for him to shave his hair off. Hey guys, i really dont know what to do. When i was 17 i Joined the Army, Shaved heads were standard and it was then the lads said i was receding already, albeit minor. Back then i didnt really care, i ignored them and i genuinely believed it was just my natural hairline shape. Anyway the years pass, i reach 21 and it gets a lot worse and the realisation sets in thats its MPB . I decided to bury my head in the sand and hope that it stops, naive i know but i just didnt want to think about it. Im now 22 and i absolutely hate. Im getting sick of it, i hate it so much and the way it makes me feel. It makes me so depressed and im sure like many of you all i can think is, why me? Why has this happened to me? I go to the hairdressers and see guys in their 40's with a full head of hair, and im sat there 22 years old receding. Lifes a bitch. Ive decided its time to do something about it, first thought was surgery but after doing my research i realise this wouldnt be a good idea at 22? This leaves me with little to no options. Buzz cut! A big no from me, i love my hair and look ridiculous with out it. 1mg propecia and nizoral 2%? Do you guys think this is the way to go?
