  1. Without a shadow of a doubt to me u look like uv never lost a follicle in ur life. She's probably just joking around.
  2. From my understanding, this I believe is because doctors use more of the single grafts at the hair line and front part of the scalp to give a softer and more natural appearance, whereas they use multi-hair grafts in the back for more density/coverage.
  3. Very exciting. I'm a little over 2 wks away from my HT Dr. Rahal which I booked about 4 months ago and I know how excited I am, I can't imagine what you must be feeling waiting as long as you have and the date is finally insight. Good luck and all the best. I hope it's more than you ever expected it to be.
  4. Spex, Why do you say too much laxity isn't a good thing? Also, it there a point before surgery that you should stop scalp exercise? Thanks
  5. Thanks for your reply Dr. Simmons. Can you explain (or direct me to the location on the forum if you already have) why your clinic no longer exists and you joined/merged with Seager. I've also notice that Mark McKenzie is no longer a member of the IAHRS and you are. How did that come to be? Did you go through the same scrutiny that Dr. McKenzie did or does it have to do with your new involvement with Seager? Thanks
  6. Thanks for posting the links. A nice read
  7. Very nice work and the scar looks very impressive. What's the 2 layer closure? I don't think that it's very common.
  8. Interesting post. Love to hear why such a difference. Both are ethical doctors so I don't suspect splitting grafts is the answer. Dr. Rahal does have a larger team and is experienced with larger sessions so maybe that's why?
  9. I have an upcoming procedure and I've been doing streches for a few months. I've been told to hold for 2 seconds per rep. Hope his helps.
  10. Unbelievable, truly unbelievable! You are a lucky man.
  11. Capelli11 very nice result. It must be such a wonderful feeling to not have to worry about your hair and dealing with the stress of concealing it. I happy for you.
  12. Hi Nomorehats; I hope your procedure in Feb is working out well. You’re about 6 months post op and I’m wondering if you would share some post op pics. I have similar hair loss to you and am doing approx 4000 grafts in Oct with Dr. Rahal so I'd be interested in seeing your progress. Can’t decide - I just checked out your page and your results look great...you must be pleased.
  13. HairFusion, I have one word...WOW! What a significant difference...congrats!
  14. Hairgoesnothing, I truly am happy and jealous. You will have a full head of hair and your hair loss troubles are soon behind you. You’re fortunate to have found Dr. Rahal right from the start. I just had a question regarding scalp stretching exercises; 1) did you do it? 2) Did follow the Dr. Rahal’s recommendation as for time and exercises? 3) Do you have any suggestions on how to do them for so long? I find it difficult to do for more than a minute or two at a time because my arms get tired. Thanks and all the best on your 2nd procedure.
  15. Hairgoesnothing...wow what a difference. Love to see what the second procedure does for you. I have an upcoming procedure (2nd, 1st unfortunately not with Dr. Rahal) with Dr. Rahal and hoping it will make a significant difference like yours did. Hariri - Were you on 'The Bald Truth' live with Spencer the other day?
  16. Thanks. I to had a previous HT with about the same number of grafts, but unfortunately it was not with Dr. Rahal and I am not as happy as I believe I could have been if I had seen Dr. Rahal first. One question I have is what do you mean by over harvested? And thanks for your help.
  17. Hi Youngandnaive, I’m glad you have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Rahal as I have an upcoming surgery scheduled with him. As Savehair said is it possible to see images of your scar? And how is the progress coming along? Thanks

    Hi Stringer99,

I saw your post on Sirius's thread. Have you made any decisions on what you want to do and Dr. Rahal?

  19. Sirius, it's just phenomenal what Dr. Rahal did for you, trully phenomenal. I'm now so excited for my procedure with him in a few months...can't wait and hope my results are like yours. Congrats you look great.
  20. Hi ihatebosely21, I had a procedure done before as well and my closure and results were not fantastic either. I too learned more after my first HT than before. It's easy to get mislead in this world. I have also decided on going with Dr. Rahal and am very excited to be a patient in his chair soon. I was just wondering if you are able to post any (or direct me if you already have) recent pics and comment on how you feel the procedure has gone for you. Thanks
