I can only assume this hasn't be commented on more as you're a new doctor to the forum and perhaps people don't know what to make of your work as yet, but this looks like a phenomenal result. Kudos

Greatjob, thank you for you honesty and 'breaking it to me' that I am not a demigod, a being around which our wondrous, sacrosanct constellation revolves for my own curious wonder. Just this morning I was trying to effect the tide for my personal amusement until your message awakened me from my misconceived and delirious slumber. In response to your over zealous reading of the situation, I stated that on a number of occasions I had asked Matt some questions and he didn't bother replying. Not just the one incident but several. I happen to think that when someone posts a case on behalf of a clinic you do so for comments and questions. I happen to think that when someone asks a question that question deserves a response. People are busy and that's not always possible. I accept that. But when you fail to even acknowledge a question on a number of occasions I also happen to think that it's not unreasonable to point that out. Matt to his credit messaged me straight away. And he then replied to another poster who asked a question on the other thread. Is this not the purpose of the forum? For meaningful questions and dialogue? Or should we just be spoon-fed information without so much as an ounce of curiosity?!

Definitely have a trim to even it it out. By evening the length and reducing the contrast it'll appear much less noticeable. In my view Couvre should only be used for thinning patterns i.e. between hairs, and in conjunction with hair fibres such as Toppik. Without it like you said it just looks like you've painted your head. Using Toppik or Nanogen with Couvre and combing it through should disguise it nicely until the shockloss areas recover.

Matt.... why do you ignore questions? I must have commented on 3 or 4 of Dr Rahal results, in a very positive way and just asked to see a few more pics, post op or other but have never had the courtesy of a response . Are you too busy? Spex and Jotronic always seem to find the time. If you don't have pics, just say so but an acknowledgement of the question now and again wouldn't go amiss.

Matt, looks fantastic, albeit a lot of grafts for not a lot of loss. Do you have any pics without the hairband and immediately post op?

As good a cosmetic transformation as I've seen for that number of grafts. The guy must be thrilled.

It's an improvement but for 4k+ grafts it looks a bit thin.

What's the point of this post? Why encourage doctors to share pics of just post ops? It tells us absolutely nothing.

Mindcage relax. All normal, all good. Have a look at some grown out results on here and compare where they were at 3 months. In short, the same place. Things are only starting to happen at that point. Have a look at Johnny B's result. A well known stellar result. Note even his comments at 3 months Hair Restoration Journal for Johnny B - 3 Months(No New Growth Yet!!)

Agreed. Great donor characteristics, thick hair and high sides. Nice transformation though, very natural.

Now it's cooking. Major progress already. Exciting 4 months + ahead....

Always nice to see a Konior patient posting. Mobile, the work looks top notch. I'm always impressed by how clean the post op is with minimum trauma to the scalp. Did you take any more pics? Be nice to see a few more. Anyway congrats! Please keep updating.

Dr Gabel.... thanks for going to the trouble of tracking the patient down to get us these pics. A fantastic result and worth the effort. Clearly another case of a guy just happy with his new head hair and enjoying life. Stellar result :cool:

Agree with all the comments RE the pic quality (including Matt's that the first post op is actually pretty good) but clearly still a fantastic improvement for 2,500 grafts. Matt do you have immed post op pics showing the placement/ coverage?
