  1. Congrats Spanker - getting back to the before surgery stage is a big relief - i am several weeks behind you and had a haircut last week the old style and feel totally normal right now - can't wait for the same corners growth here - my front also looks denser already than before surgery so that is already a plus!!! Good luck!!
  2. Hang in there Spanker - I have had two pimples but that is it, i have way more action on left side and not as much on the right yet - just be patient i am really curious to see the short haircut and how you dealt with the scar showing or hiding it. I would love to cut my hair that short but am concerned about the coverage and if you might be able to see scar?
  3. Will definitely keep updating as I progress -without the regular posters on this forum i would not have pulled the trigger - some swelling last two days nothing terrible, but noticeable icing per Dr. K instructions and it is has improved. Will put up some pics when new developments happen has only been since Tuesday afternoon, fortunately have enough hair to comb forward so that I don't have to wear a hat :-) Here is 3 days post op
  4. Hey Spanker - kinda what i thought when I saw ur pics now just hoping for all the healing to go smoothly with little or no shock and I will be great!
  5. Had my procedure with Dr. Konior today. Looking forward to results!!
  6. Completed my HT today with Dr. Konior: 1. Wonderful experience with MD and staff. 2. No issues - everything was clean and organized 3. Timing was very good 4. Thorough discussion with Dr. Konior prior to regarding expectations and game planning for density and placement. 5. Allowed MD to decide as he was doing implants to expand the initial estimate to reach my goals. Initially planned to do 12-1400 grafts and wound up with 2030 grafts. AM writing this about 3 hours after procedure was done. Some soreness up front in recipient area but still mostly numb. 6. The cleanliness of the work is still so impressive to me ! Thanks so much to everyone on the forum and Dr. Konior and staff@@ ---------- Have follow-up appt. in three days picture of pre surgery ( poor quality) immediately post sugery as well
  7. Spanker that is awesome - looks like you have retained a lot of the transplanted hair and it has grown out since surgery. It seems unlikely this would shed right? Can't wait to see month 2. My surgery is in 12 days with Dr. K - would be really happy with similar outcome!
  8. Good call - can't wait to see your progress I will be about 7 weeks behind you:) ) -
  9. So if you didn't wear hair long could anyone tell in the recipient area you had a procedure at this point? I have grown my hair out in preparation but curious how long I need to wait before I can cut it and it will look at least like it did when I was cutting short before Thanks for feedback!
  10. Spanker how do the recipient areas look now at day 16 even with shedding - any redness or obvious insertion sites?Just curious I am 3 weeks til procedure.)
  11. Spanker Thanks for sharing it is fun following your progress I am having somewhat similar amount of work done with Dr. K in 4 weeks. I am growing out existing hair for camouflage as well. Glad to see that plan is working for you looks well disguised I am not sure how everyone else feels, but i am really fascinated by your frequency of updates it provides a lot of relief of anxiety of the stories of people writing about problems. KEEP ON POSTING !! Thanks - Looking forward to getting mine down as well
