Do consider getting on oral minoxidil pills to aid with your post surg results. The side effects are usually minimal and not as bad as finasteride. The latter can help you hold onto existing hairs effectively, but some people forgo it. The minox will help bring out a strong yield of the transplanted ones and is a good investment.

How many grafts is he offering for the $3300? And whatever that number is, will it be enough to achieve your goals? Let's say he can do $1/graft, so 3,000 in total. How much of a difference do you think that many hairs are going to make? It can help add density to the frontal area. Probably nothing will be left over for your crown. If you are not taking any meds then your male pattern baldness will continue. The transplanted hairs will stay but the native ones will continue to fall out, and you might get angry thinking the surgery didn't work, when in fact the issue is your aggressive hair loss and the limitation of 3,300 grafts to counter it.

For the amount of hair loss you have (it is a lot) you would need a fair amount of surgery, including beard donor if you had any. That adds costs. People in your shoes, who are going to be Norwood level 6 and are looking to gamble on a hair mill, there is a high probability that: 1) you won't get the result that you want and 2) you'll be worse off than you began with, hence why people who have seen more than you suggest you save your money and don't proceed. If you don't understand what a botched hair transplant does to someone, I can tell you, they all wished they had done nothing to begin with. Save your money.

The waviness is working in your favour. Sometimes it's obvious when someone has hair work done, with odd hair spacing, etc, but with how your hair is growing out no one will be able to think that.

What you are probably seeing is the loss of the remaining native hair, and not the transplanted ones. Hair loss continues for the former if you don't use medications to slow it down. Something which can cause the transplanted hair to die off, and which is rare in men, is Scarring Alopecia. This is when the scalp is chronically inflamed and fights against any hair, whether native or added from another part of the body. The scarring which develops underneath the skin kills off the hair follicles over time. This can be fended off with diagnosis by a suitably trained dermatologist and with treatment. If your scalp is not healthy, it makes a good result from surgery that much more unlikely.

What spray have you been directed to use? If I had to guess, it is for moisturizing? If that is the case, it is good to keep up on top of that task because you can't shower in the immediate aftermath of this type of procedure. I used to do distilled water in a spray bottle, but the last time I went in the nursing staff recommened Aquaphor, which you can pick up easily at a Walmart or Walgreens:

I thought the rule of thumb was 50% growth by six months and 90% at nine. The crown, however, can take over a year to fully manifest.

There are exercises to do for preparing the scalp for FUT, getting the laxity needed. I find that rubbing in a liquid botanical into my scalp each day has made the skin much looser.

I don't happen to have the link, but some years ago I saw a video on youtube which helped me out with Toppik application. If you are using the hair shaker - ie. with no attachments - turn it upside down, press it onto your scalp, and rub it all over. The fibers come out and attach to the hairs, and I find that the distribution is more even. When I shake out power from a distance, sometimes the first amount of Toppik to come out is a huge clunk of fiber, which is hard to spread out afterwards. From looking at the last photo, it seems you have decent overall coverage, especially considering the amount of area being covered by only 4,000 grafts. Some people wind up using that much for just the frontal portion; in your case it was spread out into the crown. Another factor which might be affecting your result is if your hair loss has been stabilized with drugs, or if you've continued the balding of native hairs. You can add new ones in, but if you're like me and don't take Propecia, your net result is impacted. You might benefit from SMP to go along with your short styling. The coverage is there, so adding the micro dots will add density. SMP can help with the FUT scar as well.

From what I have read on here, once the grafts are anchored in the days after the surgery, they should be safe, minus any external trauma. After the couple of week mark normal behaviour shouldn't cause problem. Be careful with the strength of the shampoo. What you want to avoid are things that cause persistent inflammation to the skin under the surface, which envelope the new hairs.

I had post op pimples the worst in the follow up to the first surgery, both donor and a couple of places in the recipient. And pop them they went, eventually. Best to use something sterile so as to not infect the area. What is odd is that in my follow up procedures, my body was less traumatized and seemed to react better to all the needling and extractions, as if it was prepared better. The most problematic area for pimples was from the beard donor.

He does interviews without concealers, so you can see how far his hair transplant went with recovering his appearance. He must have used some toppik for the big night.

If you do go through with it, consider documenting your results here. As other have mentioned you donor area appears strong and you haven't yet presented a NW6 pattern. The before and after could be great in your case.

The answer is at the end of the video - Istanbul Turkey! The wild west of hair transplantation. The person in the video asked for this hairline to look like his toupee. I don't think even unethical doctors would push this idea. Can't feel sorry for this fool. The only bad part is when he complains about the results 10 years from now when he keeps going bald and blames it on the profession.

It appears to be a hair mill, meaning you are gambling your money, time and hair resources. 4.9/5 with 200 google reviews? It's mostly fake. Read through them and see the pattern. These clinics have a budget from the Turkish government to spend on ads and they hire people to right reviews. Many years ago I did some gigs for Clickworker, and that's what it was - being paid small amounts to write reviews that the customer is paying for through one of these types of agencies. If money is tight, your best advice from here is to keep it and not risk a botched procedure.
