  1. Your hairloss is not that bad. At this stage you can actually get a good transplant which can return you at Norwood 2 or even 1.
  2. 4000 grafts is wishful thinking. Feel your donor. Let others asses it. My wife told me I didn't have much hair but I had quality hair. When I reached the clinic Dr Radha gave told me the exact same thing that my wife told me. In the end I got around 2660 grafts which I used at the frontal zone. I manage to implant only 30 grafts per centimeter. The quality of my hair is good which even shocked how dr Radha herself. She is like you don't have much hair but that little hair gives good coverage. By the way the laxity of my scalp is above average. This is due to soft skin. However, I didn't have much hair so the donor was still restricted. If I go for another surgery I can get another 2000 grafts.
  3. Also, I would also like to give you guys a heads up when you reach Mumbai. Everyone has to fill an immigration form. Make sure you take 2 form. One for entering and one for returning. I didn't fill out an address when I was exiting Mumbai. I didn't remember the address of the Hotel. So the immigration officer told me to go back and fill it out. Luckily I had a receipt of the hotel and I was able to fill it out.
  4. I stayed at Budhil Park Hotel. I asked Dr Radha to reserve it, and the hotel staff took advantage of this. Instead of getting a room with a single bed which cost 2100 Rupees a night, the hotel chose a room which cost 2550 rupees a night for deluxe option. Also, the rooms have a fridge. It has a few drinks such as Thumbs up and some Chocolate. If you take anything from there including water they will charge you once you leave. I had to pay an extra 230 rupees. Of course coming from the West this was nothing, but the hotel tried its best to charge me as much as possible. The breakfast is complimentary. For lunch I ate at the hotel itself and one Biryani serving is good enough for 2 people. So the lunch was so heavy I didn't even feel like I needed to eat dinner. So if you want to book at hotel try to do it by calling the hotel. Otherwise, they will try to rip you off by booking a room which cost 500 more rupees. In the end if you are coming from the West, you will find it affordable in Vishakapatnam. The people will their best to make extra money but the dollar value will make you feel that everything is dirt cheap. A full course meal should not cost more than 300 rupees. By the way the Hotel has an exchange bureau right across. You might get a better rate there. I gave the Hotel $600 US dollar which came to little above 30000 rupees. They charged me 18000 rupees for the hotel and told me they will give the rest. I waited and they said we will sent the money to your room in 5 minutes. The time past and they did nothing. Then I just stood in front of the counter and said I am not going anywhere till I get my money. So they went to their restaurant and finally gave me the remaining amount. Beware of their dirty tactics. They lied so much when I request my amount immediately.
  5. I would like to see areas of the scalp which consists of just beard hair only. I've seen some amazing results done in Turkey and in California from Dr Umar. However, the pricing is really high.
  6. There are no vaccination requirements if you are coming from UK.
  7. I thought the only requirement was a yellow fever certificate for people coming from Africa and Asia. The others are recommended and not required. I'm leaving on the 13th of February so unfortunately I won't see you there. It would be cool to meet someone from this forum on the day of the surgery. Also, thanks for Paulo I planning on staying at budhil park.
  8. I just got my confirmation with Dr Radha. I will be getting my HT done on the 7th. @Paulo10 thanks for the heads up. As for flights its much easier to go through Emirates airlines cause the flights are more direct. However, due to shortage of time I was unable to get Emirates airline. Personally, I would not even mind paying more if I had the option.
  9. Mine is on the 7th of Feb. Ahmed where did you book your hotel ? I'm planning on staying in India for 5 extra days so Dr Radha can have my sutures removed.
  10. I wonder if any Indian doctor has used beard hair for the scalp. In California, Dr Umar includes the beard hair as a main source of the donor. The problem is his cost is $8 a graft. If HT doctors started doing this in India then a lot of people would go there for their final touches.
  11. I believe Dr Ozgur and Dr Akin from Ankara, Turkey charge 3 Euros per graft. They have many cases where they use body hair. I wanted to get my hair transplant in Turkey due to high level of artistic skill. However, these doctors no longer due strip.
  12. Body hair is really weak. However, my beard hair grows everyday. I have to shave it everyday to get rid of it.
  13. That's the same strategy I want to use for a hair transplant. Use the beard hair and transplant it into crown section. As a result there should be enough donor hair to transplant hair in the frontal and mid zone. There is another clinic that specializes in this type of hair transplant. Look up Dr Ozgur and Dr Akin from Ankara, Turkey. They have many cases where beard hair is transplanted into the crown.
  14. Now he has hair so a bad hair cut will only be a temporary mess up. Whereas if the balding is noticeable a hair cut will expose it even more.
  15. I should be thanking you. I was going to consider Dr Madhu due to his good rates. However, I saw your posts and changed my mind. After seeing your results, I am more convinced that Dr Radha is a good choice.
  16. That is an amazing result. I was going to book a HT with Dr Radha, but something came up. I going to get one later this year.
  17. Dr Umar charges $8 now ? His rate used to be $5 if you presented your picture. $4.5 if you showed your face. But now its $8 ? Maybe you should consider going to Turkey where its 2.5-3 Euros per graft. I would chose that option too, but I rather start with strip first and then use FUE to take beard and body hair.
  18. My hair loss started at 17, and at 24 it got really bad. So I would give it 5-10 years before thinking about a HT. I'm at Norwood 4. and at times I still wish to wait till I hit 30. However, I have a enough baldness to get an HT.
  19. Wow! That is an amazing hairline. What was the cost per graft ?
