  1. Shesawaterfall You cant go wrong with Saifi. 1.16 a graft , 60.00 return flight if you book early enough. And from July onwards Ryanair fly form Bournemouth to Wroclaw !!! Im from Southampton also.
  2. Dingdong Still not much to report yet. Im 6 weeks today , so got a bit more time to wait yet.
  3. Hi Yeah I had FUT also . I always have my hair grade 2/3. Im not worried about the scar. They are so good nowaday. My scar line is very thin but is very red at the moment. Also I have had a bit of shock loss, so it shows a bit at the moment. But a another month or two it will be fine.
  4. The hairline design looks perfectly fine to me. Not many hair line are completely perfect , semetrical etc. Im sure you will have a great result.
  5. Hi I originally had a quote with Dr Saifi for 3000 grafts , that was ?3500.00 fut For Fue you are looking at 6750.00 expensive, but very competitive compared to other clinics.
  6. Hi I've never heard of them, but it does sound cheap. I had my transplant with Dr Saifi 6 weeks ago and connot speak highly enough of him so far. Ive yet to see the final results but the procedure itself, aftercare etc had been excellent. He visited me at the hotel the day after surgery has phoned me at home, answers all emails personally in a timely manner. I have spoke to ther patients of him, with final results , who are very, very pleased with their results. So if you are going to Poland , Id say Dr Saifi , no question. If you need anything else, let me know.
  7. I think I am panicking unecessarily then ( worried that mine is still quite red 5 weeks post op) Would bio oil be a good option as this has vitamin a&e ??
  8. I know many of you have mentioned the fact that you should wait a full year before deciding whether Propecia is working. I am now at the 8 month mark and I can honestly say I don't think it has made any cosmetic improvement. If anything I would say I've got a tiny bit thinner near the crown, although I cannot be sure. My question is, do you think that Propecia can start really start working long after this time? Is there a chance that regrowth can happen say a year after starting, or is this a rarity? I suppose if I hang on to what I have now, that's still regarded as a success but I suppose like most people I'm greedy and want extra growth !!!!!! Cheers
  9. Only 1650 grafts ?? It may be mey but that seems a lot more there !!!
  10. Delayed responsed but many thanks Jotronic , makes sense now. Dingdong - I reckon the reason we had Dr Saifi do nearly all the work was down to the smal number of grafts we had.
  11. Hi I can echo the comments from RLC26 and Dindgong (so Far) I need to wait for the results before I rave too much. Everything was superb before , on the day. Their are also other members I have been in contact with who have been very impressed with their results. So it appears that there is quality surgeon within easy reach which is afforadable to the average earner.
  12. Bucksred All looking good and normal at this stage. You scar looks amazing post op !!!!!! Im also at the horrible stage now (back to the pre-op) But I suppose its better than having shock loss to the naitive hair. Hope everything goes well for you. Im sure it will as Dr Linsey seems to be top notch. I suppose it all affects us in different ways. I had no redness at all in the receipent area , even at day 8. Just the scar is taking a bot longer than I expected. All the best
  13. Hi Ive had the wife examine the scar, she says it looks pink to her, which I suppose it would be after just 5 weeks. Also, I have thick dark hairs already growing through the scar(a good thing)but I think it makes it look worse at the moment as I have a bit of shock beneath the scar line. When this sorts itself out I think it will look good. Everyone thinks the scar looks amazing at this early stage. I have been in contact with the doc , he thinks all is normal at this stage. He said I need to give it at least 2 months, preferrable 3 before it starts to look normal. Thanks all
  14. Porter!!!!!!!!!! You were up early this morning, probably the excitement What a strike, Cant deny that! Still top though , Just ! Hopefulluy we'll go up and Pompey stay up Just seen his pics, not bad at all so far, especially considering the the amount of grafts over the area. CHeers
  15. Now I am panicking !!! Bucksred - Many thanks , I know we are all different in healing. I have been in contact with my docs, he has told me not to worry at this stage and give it another month or two. If I have any concerns then, by all means contact him. DR Charles - Many thanks for your post. When I say shock loss, may be it isnt. The area was shaved, when I was stitched up there was still a little bit below the scar that showed. It has grown a bit but I can still see the scalp. It is better than it was but by no means normal. You are correct it feels more tender at the ends but redder in the middle Porter / Porchester - Many thanks , will order that !! Look forward to the pics and Saints hammering Pompey tomorrow. Pending this result , I will be going for another for the mid and crown. The wife said to me before that I didnt need one. So I wont mentiond to her that I want another !!!! Happy Easter all.
  16. Cheers Porter !!! (Joking !! Remember that one ??) I was going to ask you about the massager as you mentioned it on a previous post. Obviously worked well for you as you got a good amount of grafts on your second op. Where did you purchase it if you dont mind me asking? Regarding the Saints, confidence may be down a bit after the defeat at Blackpool. Should be a good game though !!! Looking forward to seeing the pics.
  17. Jotronic Can you confirm on this point : "and these incisions dictate the angle and direction of how the grafts are placed" Even though the incisions are made, surely they can still be put in the wrong angle by a tech ??Although unlikely with an experienced tech. SO would you say the incision is more important than the placement ?? (if the docs do this ?) Thanks !!
  18. Dingdong Good question !! You beat me to it !! My procedure lasted about 6.5 hours. Dr Saifi made ALL the incisions. For the placement of the grafts he was doing this with " the fit blonde one " All though he did do more. For approximately 30 mins he did dissappear, which I dont think is too bad for the 6.5 hours. I understand that the incisions are the most important part. I dont know why. As surely the placement of the grafts are just important, because if you put them in at the wrong angle, the hair will not look unatural ?? Can anyone comment on this ??
  19. Hi All I'm just over 4 weeks post op and my scar is completely invisible at both ends at a grade 3.5 but still visible in the middle, as I've had a bit of shock loss underneath the scar. Also , it is still quite red in this part. Is it normal for the middle part to take longer to heal than the sides ?? I'm hoping it is and after reassurance that the shock loss near the scar will return. I've heard the normal time for hair to return is 2.5 months. Would this be correct ??? I'm sure it will be ok , but just starting to panic a bit.
  20. Thanks all . I hoped that it may of been a sign that the hairs are due out shortly !!! Never mind !
  21. Like it !!!!! But.......have you got a serious answer !!! Cheers
  22. Hi All As the subject says, pimples have started to arrive. But, what does this mean ? Are the hairs waiting to break through at this early stage ?? Seems a little early for 1 month post Op. Or is this the usual for this stage ?? Can anyone offer some advice. CHeers
  23. Any experiences hair transplaters or patient coordinators have any advice on this ??? Thanks
