  1. What I should of said is that Ive only ever seen between 1.8 - 2.2
  2. Hi All I have a question regarding the calculator on this site. I know it clearly states that this tool doesnt replace the need for a consoltation, but my query is with the graft count to hair count ratio. I am of the understanding that the average number of hairs per graft is 2.2 when I have used this to check on the crown area the rate is nearly 2.7. This is quite a big difference. Especially when I have read so many cases where the counts have been approx 1.8. I know everyone is different, but I would of thought the calculater would be set as an average. Can anyone explain, or may be I have my figures wrong?? Thanks
  3. Hi I'm going back to Dr Saifi in Poland as he perfomed my FUT. I know FUE is a different ball game but I have faith in him and his ability. Just a coupke of weeks to go now.
  4. Spanker - here is a close up of the scar. This is at a grade 3 and a bit. Its invisibal at a grade 4. Im hoping with a bot of time it will be invisible at a grade 3. Only time will tell.
  5. Spanker- From the pics Ive seen you have bundles of hair. With the work thats been done, it will look amazing. The pics at 4 days post op look amazing. It will be very dense. Congrats !!
  6. Spanker- From the pics Ive seen you have bundles of hair. WIith the work thats been done, it will look amazing. The pics at 4 days post op look amazing. It will be very dense. Congrats !!
  7. Can anyone advise how I update my signature. I have done it before but cant seem to rememnber. Thanks
  8. Bucksred. Im really pleased for you mate. Looking good already and it will only get better. The hair line is now completely different, a massive change. Keep up posted
  9. Hi all Thanks for the messages. I have added more pics. This time my hair is very wet, but I will stress its after dying with Just for Men !!! I would also like to point out that I think I have responded well to the meds, not taking anything away from the Doctor. Spanker - I had FUT , Ive just taken a couple of pics outside after a few attempts. But it is just getting dark now. Ill send some more in the light of day tom or later in the week. There is a tiny bit of shock still (not sure if you can make this out) Im back to Dr Saifi's in 2.5 weeks time for FUE to the crown. THe only reason for fue is because I dont want the recover time with the scar again. He also said he will sort the shock at no extra cost and has given me a reduced rate on the fue because of it !!!
  10. Hi All Here is an update following 1680 grafts to the frontal third by Dr Saifi. I am over the moon with the results so far, each hair shaft is getting ticker and thicker now. Apologies for the toilet in the background, it was the best pictures I could get for a more honest look (being very light) Not only did I have baldness to contend with I also had greying hair !!! Im hoping with a bit of Just for men the results will look even better!!
  11. Hi all I was wondering if any one has any recommendations for good styling products for thin hair? Something that doesnt show your scalp too clearly. Also, any products that you can use in conjunction with hair concealers. Thanks
  12. Jollyfolly / Tommylucchese Many thanks for your comments. Hope all is well with you 2 !!!!!!!!!
  13. Madmog Yep, all is well with me. I'll post some updates soon. Yours scar looks excellent, as does the work. Mine was bad for a long time but I did have a massive scar revision, so that may of been the reason. I wouldn't use Nizoral at this stage, certainly not for another 3-4 weeks. I would stick to a mild shampoo. I used Johnson Baby shampoo. Good luck and keep up posted.
  14. Hi I understand what you are saying but I really do not think any one the reputable clinics would do this. However, nothing is stopping a patient dong this when they post their own pics, but then why would they do that? They will only be fooling themselves. I didnt really have that option as all of my pics were at a grade 3.5 length !!
  15. Hi All Well, I'm back to Dr Saifi's again in 5 weeks time, to address my crown. I'm hoping that 1400 grafts or so will do the trick and complete my hair restoration This time I am having FUE, as I don't not want the recovery time with the scar and also I only have a weeks' holiday leave left at work. I have only been in contact with one member on this site who has had FUE with Dr Saifi , so I feel I am taking a gamble. I took a bit of a gamble with him on the FUT but luckily this paid off and I am already thrilled with the results. I know many of members on this forum have said that FUE is a bit more complex and a different ball game altogether, therefore you should choose your doctors wisely, as there are only a handful of doctors who can perform this to great standard. I know a few doctors have said that FUE is a lot more unpredictable than FUT. However, Dr Saifi, says that his results are not that different (if at all) to that of FUT. These were not his words, but I recall words to that effect on a call to him some time ago. So I suppose my question is ...would you want a doctor saying to you that the result will not be as good or unpredictable or do you want your doctor to have faith and belief in himself that the result will be of a high standard? Also, if there are any of Dr Saifi's patients reading this that have had FUE with him , I would be grateful if you can drop me a line with your experience. Thanks
  16. Spanker - you are correct , and thanks. I presume you have nothing to report yet? Other than the new hairs shedding ? I'm sure you will have a great result, as I can honestly say that some of the pics Ive seen on here from Dr Konior have been brilliant. Good luck !
  17. All good at the moment, seems to be getter better all the time, albeit slowly. I will post an update in a week or so. I'll message you when done so you can check it out. Hope everything is ok with you. Pesume you'll be having your stitches out very soon? I cant wait to get the crown done in 5 weeks time!!! Im havinf fue this time but only have a week off work (Im hoping this will be enough !) This is the first time in 10 years or so that I am not concerned about my hair. Its such a nice feeling!!! The Minoxidil, Propecia & Nizoral have also been a great help in the mid to crown area. With this and the new HT, Im hoping that will be me sorted !! Let me know as soon as you have received the pics from Dr Saifi. From your pics it looks very good but presume they are from a camera phone?? All the best
  18. Sounds good a makes sense I suppose . When do you intend on having surgery and what are you looking for in terms of procedure (fut/Fue) and number of grafts ?
  19. Hi I'm glad you have had a good experience so far. I'm not too sure that the forum will want or allow promotional posting ( ie telephone numbers email addresses etc) Having visted Dr Saifi myself, I can confirm that he is an excellent Hair Transplant surgeon. I cannot comment on the other areas of Cosmetic Surgery at the clinic though. It would be good if you can keep us posted on your progress as the regular posters on this forum tend to get a bit suspicious of 1 time posters who rave about a clinic before they have had any kind of results. Anyway, good luck and I hope it all goes well and I look forward the the updates, pics etc W
  20. Ok thanks. Not much I can do really as its all booked. Just have to hope for the best. Im only having 1400 or so in the crown.
  21. MPbsucks - Thanks for your quick response. Do you think you can get away with any less than than that ?? Im not fussed if its looks a little thin, but I dont want a full on bald patch at the recipient area. Acutally, mine will be 7 days. Thats the maz I can have as I will not have any holiday left. CHeers
  22. Hi All I was wondering what the recovery time is with Fue? Im not concerned with redness in the recipient area as I didnt have any in my last op. Also, I will have hair to conceal. My main concern is in the donor area. Do you think a week off work will be sufficient? I have read stories where 3 days are ok as the stuble grows through to camouflage ?? Can anyone with experience comment ?? Thanks
  23. Hi all Wow, I wasnt expecting a response like this. To be honest the manner in which is was said shows she was impressed with my hair and that she didnt really believe that I would of had surgery. It was a compliment. Never the less still an awkaward moment for me! Although you want and expect a ht to be completely undectable. It cant be really if you want a great result. Otherwise it wouldnt be a great result. The people I see day to day regularly, havent really noticed because they dont see a sudden change, its a slow process. I guess its the people you see once in a while that could possibly notice (and this one did)
  24. Hi All I'm back to Dr Saifi's in Poland in 6 weeks time to address the crown area. Its not terribly bad but I'm hoping for 1400 grafts or so by FUE, which should then be my hair restoration finished for the time being. My question is, can the surgeons take their pick on the follicles ? I.e. just, pick all the 2,3s and 4's . Why bother with the 1's when its for the crown ?? Surely this achievable ?? Any advise would be helpful Thanks
  25. Hi All I was ay work today, in a middle of a busy office, when a girl said to me " Your hair looks different, your hair line is better, have you had some of those implants" Just as I could feel myslef getting hot a sweaty and a little bit red, someone called for me in the next offfice and I got away with it. Later when I regained my composure I went back to tell her that I have been on Propecia and Minoxidil for the last year. It was actually the result of my HT coming through. Itshould of been a great moment in theory, but it made me feel uneasy and I was shaking like mad. I thought I would share that with everyone.
