  1. Well as promised here is my report from Europe Clinic Poland, and Dr.Marwan Saifi. For those wanting the short version,I had a consultation with Dr.Saifi only for us to both agree that I didn't realy need a HT. I would say this came about firstly by me being told by friends and family I didn't realy need another HT. I've had 2 strip procedures before. Although I'd already booked the procedure, flights and hotel this did start to resonate on me,and when I finally arrived at Dr.Saifis clinic I was uncertain. When I explained this to Dr.Saifi he examined me and said that although we could go ahead with 1000 grafts,he agreed that with my present hair coverage it would not make a huge difference to what I already had. So I decided I would leave it. Dr.Saifi had not asked for any deposit from me,which was a nice change from UK salesmen driven clinics. I knew that he had assembled his 4 person team for my HT so I offered him 300Euros as a cancellation fee.He said 200 would cover his costs so in the end we agreed on 250. I was due to pay around ??2000 for the HT. I must say that he never in any way tryed to persuade me to go ahead with the HT,and for that I respect him. So I stayed a while and we chatted during which time he showed me photos of alot of his other patients, and I looked around the clinic and met his team. The clinic was clean, modern and all you would expect for a good HT. I spent quite some time going through photos of his previous and present patients, some of whom I have been in touch with, and to my untrained eye his work looks as good and as detailed as any I have seen from the best doctors on the forum. Now of course this can all sound to good to be true. I'm not working for Dr.Saifi,or under any guilt trip for my last minuit cancellation.I'm just telling it as I've seen it. Now because Dr.Saifis pricing is a little below average am I saying all go there and you'll get the best HT ever. Even though I've never had one there myself. NO It would of course be wrong for me to do that. What I will say is that there are good HT doctors outside the forum and he is one of them. I would further suggest that if you check out his website, and it looks interesting, contact him via email and see what you think. Or invest ??100 in RyanAir,fly to Wroclaw, meet him and have a consultation before you commit to anything. I think that's covered all I wish to say. Any questions contact the man himself.
  2. Thanks again for your reply. I can see where you are coming from Sparky,as this is not my first HT. In the contact I've had with Dr Saifi he has sent me much more detailed procedure photos than on the website, and we have been in contact much over the last couple of months.I'm also in constant contact with a UK patient who had a HT in Wroclaw in December.Needless to say he is very pleased with the result. But I do heed what you say. So I will go today as I've booked flights anyway and meet and talk to Dr Saifi and in the end go with what I feel is right. which I will of course post on this website.
  3. Hello Sparky thanks for the message Can you give me any valid reason for your comment
  4. Hello again, Well after extensive contact with Dr Saifi and one of his previous satisfied patients I've decided to go to Wroclaw next week Feb,22. I will post a blog of events etc. I feel confident that all will go well.
  5. Hello again, this is aimed at European viewers mostly. I'm interested in EuropeClinic Wroclaw Poland. It looks very good and I've been in contact with a Dr.Marwan Saifi. Has anybody out there used this clinic or Dr.Saifi. I would be very interested to here from previous HT clients. Many thanks
  6. Me again, I've been looking through page after page of peoples experiences, and it seems I made a mistake going to Hospital group at Bromsgrove.Still I can't say I had a bad time there,it's just that my hair is thinner, and I'm ??3500 worse off. The big difficulty with thinning on top hair is how do you tell the difference the old and new hairs. And if it's thinner than before as mine is,was that caused by original hair coming out caused by shock,or the new hairs not staying!! I've not seen a single mention of the clinic I'm curious about in Poland. So if anybody can give me some insight on EuroSurgery,Wroclaw Poland or a Dr,Marwan Saifi.I'd be very grateful
  7. Hello, My first time on a HT forum, which seems mainly aimed at the American side. I'm British but I live in Spain, and I would like to hear from people of their experience with UK or European surgeons. I've had several procedures over the years, some I would call successful, some not. My last was with a Uk company called The Hospital Group.org at their Bromsgrove clinic near Birmingham. This was in Sept,2008. I had aprox 1300 tranplants from a strip taken from the rear of my head.Costing ??3500. All went well, with a Dr Williams, and I left feeling fine and optimistic. My hair on top has never completely gone so I've always had density increasing treatments. This also makes it more difficult to judge how much a procedure has wporked. I feel now however looking at my head now my hair has never looked so thin,or my scalp see through so much. Have I wasted money? I don't know. I would like to hear from anyone else who has used this clinic. Also I'm considering trying EuroSurgery in Wroclaw Poland. This seems like a good place and much better priced than most UK clinics as I'm not a rich person. I will try to post some post op photos.I don't have any pre op at present but I have emailed Bromsgrove and asked if they have any they can send me. That's it!
