  1. True - lets hope it was a minor change of plan. 2nd for automatic promotion would do! Cheers for the info. To be honest it's not too bad at the moment, and when dry not even noticeable, but the temple is starting to go badly again. I recovered it from a shocking state 5 years ago using Propecia (looking at old photos is incredible how I used to look!), but just this last month it's started to go, following the same pattern as before. I think it's because I experimented with not washing my hair for 3 months, and it seems to have caused this. I hope that's it at least, but most forums say oil and sebum on the scalp doesnt affect DHT, but this is too strange a cooincidence. Have you all heard about natural DHT blockers, like Pumpkin seed oil and green tea?
  2. You mean the soon to be Premier League Saints fan! Looks like a great result with both of you. Do you know can they use the donor area again and again in future years or is there a limit?
  3. oh right - I used to have a friend who lived in Bitterne, just behind the pub by the station. I'm from Hythe. So you had yours from Dr Saifi last month? It would be good to see your progress in the next few months.
  4. Hi there, I just wanted to share a recent experience. Please don't judge me, as this may make me appear to be a fool! I suppose you've all heard the idea that after a certain time your hair will wash itself? Well i've always been intrigued but too self conscious to go through the first stages of dirty greasy hair. I've been working in the middle east for the last 6 months without any real inclusion in any society to speak of so it was the perfect chance. Bear in mind I've been using Finasteride for the last 6 years, after some serious balding back in 2005. So in November 2011 I started my experiment and stopped using shampoo, only using water and a comb in the shower. It actually worked quite well, my hair looked better, if a bit tough at times. After a while I realised it had reached a peak so I washed again in February 2012. Then, the middle of March, despite my normal regimen of 1.25mg of finasteride a day I noticed some thinning at the temple, and over the last couple of weeks, more thinning on the top of my head. I assumed the meds were wearing off, as I've heard they do after 5 or so years, but I've just made a connection between the not washing. I've read that greasy hair and scalp leads to more DHT. Why didnt I research this before I stopped washing my hair!!?? Well, needless to say I've started washing it everyday now, and am using Neutrogena T Gel, and upped the finasteride dosage, so I'm hoping I can reverse what I think I started. Just saying what you folks who use this site regularly probably already know -wash your barnet regularly! Cheers
  5. Sorry Rod, I was wrong about Dr Radha - it was Dr Madhu that had some unhappy punters. All of Radha's look amazing. Definitely worth thinking about. Suppose it all depends on the flights. Buzz2, Is that euros or pounds? Southampton as well huh? I don't live there now - I'm doing a stint in the middle east now. God I'd love a beer!
  6. Cheers Rod. Yeah i was reading a lot about Indian Doctors on here lat night and followed one guy's story quite closely who had been to Dr Radha, however it wasn't all that positive! He was a bit upset and no regrowth after 8 months. Are there a lot of success stories?
  7. I think I'll probably do the same. Im from Southampton in England. YOu?
  8. Sorry for the double message - laptop froze and thought I'd lost it! Now a triple!
  9. Everything is pointing towards Dr Saifi so far. Did you fellas both have FUT?
  10. Ta fellas - so far everything is pointing me to Dr Saifi. He also replied to me and was extremely helpful. I'll have to give it some thought and keep looking for a bit. Did youse both have FUT?
  11. Hi, I've contacted Beauty Holiday and been quoted an extremely cheap ?1700 for 1000 grafts. At present I've no reason to think it's a particularly dodgy practice as all transplants seem to be cheap in Poland, so if anyone has any direct experience with this Doctor and practice I'd appreciate any feedback. I understand Marwan Saifa is very good as well. Cheers!
