So I'm trying propecia for the 3rd time now, and I just hit day 11 of daily 1mg dosage. I am so happy to say that I am experiencing no problems that I was having before, and I'm going to put it all down to my self conscience, having no erection problems and sex is no problem. However, my semen does seem a little more fluid than usual, as was the case the first two times I tried to take the drug. Is this something to care/worry about? does this point out other invisible problems or? If it is just more watery, and nothing else then I wouldn't even care... Just wondering. Thanks guys

I tried to take it twice before and was seeing side effects such as lowered sex drive and watery semen. This was once 1mg every 2 days and then .5mg every day... I'm now taking it, on my 6th day of 1mg a day and my sex life is fine. I decided to start taking it again because my hair loss has progressed since before and I really wanted to give it another chance. I'm hopeful, but just worried that it's going to start giving effects again soon. If the side effects end up just being watery semen then I don't even care, i'd take that with better hair for life.

Personally though, I think it's awesome and a huge inspiration to a lot of balding or bald men everywhere, Rooney went from what was a clearly balding, ugly look to a pretty youthful yet slightly matured head of hair, and my guess is its only going to get better. and if he keeps up by having top up HTs, then I'm sure he will have hair to keep until later on in life, or the end!

I've read inbetween 3k to 5k grafts but my guess is closer to 3k.

People think he's only had one, and I'm sure that's all he's had also, basing it on the fact that it's not yet been a year since the first one, and also there's simply no way he'd be able to fit a second one in, with his training and having to play games weekly. The season isn't over yet, so the earliest he could go in for a second would not be until then, and even with that I doubt he would get a second one anytime soon

I remember it looking very promising and they were giving away small samples online, you just had to cover the postage... think they were japanese? I remember it being around october time, i never got my sample..

Why should he be clear about it? It's completely personal to himself, and if people want to be mislead into believing their eyes, and having false expectations for themselves, then its their own faults for not doing enough research. I can't stand how many ignorant articles I find in the media these days regarding hair loss, and how people think it happens.

Nah bro, that is definitely not hair loss as I've ALWAYS had that and it was something that I worried about for a good while when I was 14 or so, hahah. I thought I was going bald then and that most definitely was not the case, obviously. It's a mix of how my hair parts in the centre, the right side goes to the right and the left to the left, and the fact that theres just less hairs there than there could be. if i straighten it or fuzz it up a bit it just looks normal. I often put dermatch on that little spot just incase because people in the past have been like "lol ur goin bald lol" when i was like 16 if i pulled my hair back

I don't believe that <2% hype, it sounds like a marketing tactic. I mean, if they said it was 20% or higher, then people wouldn't buy it. But then again, I'm not here to try and run down Propecia as I know many people use it and get results from it, it just isn't for me, unfortunately. Do you guys think I should stop using Rogaine on my hairline then, and just keep using it on the back of the head where intended? And trust me, it doesn't look the same anymore, just months later. If i pull my hair in to a mohawk like style at the front, youll see lots of short hairs in the sides on the hairline, running back in a NW1 shape, I never had that just months ago. Only think I can put it down to is Rogaine? think I should try stopping? I even upped my dosage from once a day to twice a day around a month ago.

so you can't see that there is a lot lot thinner area on the side of my hairline now, also that there are lots of shorter hairs falling down going about an inch back and either side? The hairs were all the same length originally, and now my hairline hairs in the corners are really short and sparser. You gotta be able to see something here...

It's really worrying to me that I've gone from no hairloss at all, to this progressively worsening result in under half a year. only months, and this is happening, it looks sparser, and the "thinning" seems to be spreading back further, and wider. Again, wet hair, and this is me facing the window for direct lighting: Is rogaine causing this? is this good regrowth or is this Class A hairloss? And nobody tell me to get on Propecia because ive tried twice and i have instantanious sexual side effects and SPEX advised me not to be taking it if this is the case.

Hey guys. I've been recording videos over the last year, but more so in since September time, observing my hairline, and general hair and such. I started taking Rogaine in early October, on the hairline as well, as there was a slight thinning on the very right corner. Since then, My hairline has gotten A LOT worse, and where there was no problem at all on the left side, there is now a progressively worsening hairline on the left, in just a matter of a few months, with each month or so im noticing its looking worse in the examples. Is this due to me using rogaine on the hairline, and this is a sign of something good? is this because Rogaine is reacting badly and causing shit? You wouldnt think that something that was perfectly fine would start to go as soon as i start using hairloss meds to prevent it? At this rate i dont know what the fuck im going to look like in a years time, and im still too young for a transplant gonna attach some pictures...

It gives me side effects, and im talking from very early days of usage, and even small dosage. I can not and will not ever commit to the drug, as the two times I've tried to, I've noted these problems. simply put, it just does not work for me. The problem is, being young (22 in 2 months time) and the fate of my hair very much unknown, many people always suggest to take meds to "keep as much up there as possible, and get a HT" but as I have to 100% rule out propecia, what else can I do? I'm using Rogaine twice daily and will continue doing so... What options do people who can not use propecia have?

Personally, I'm against Propecia. I've read a lot of bad stuff, and I'm not going to say its a good or bad drug as I'm not trying to scare people from using it, I did get side effects within a week of taking the drug - my libido went to shit and my semen was really watery, I've tried taking the drug on two occasions now, once as a 1mg daily dose and once as a 0.5 every other day dose, and the side effects were just as apparent.

Note that its only really in the very definite corner of the hairline, spanning about 2 cms, ignore the little patch in the middle of my hairline, that has ALWAYS been there and my hairs pretty thin anyway, the focus is right on the edges of the hairline

So I started taking Minox daily a few months back, when i had a scare from strong daylight bathroom lighting and also seeing thinning on the right side of my hairline... for a while I believed that it was helping my rightside hairline though now im skeptical, and I've also noticed that my hairline on the left side has gone way back and lots of hairs have dropped out... there wasnt even a problem here. I know it can cause sheds, but, is that progress or just the start of the end for these hairs? I'm also experimenting with taking propecia 0.5mg daily but i think im having side effects, and am unsure if i should carry on taking it its been a few weeks now. Heres a photo from september, the left side of my hairline: And heres how its looking now. note that the hairline is still there, but a big chunk of it has thinned out and there is a lot less hair there, also the hairs there are very short in comparison to the rest of my hair, which is why they dont pull back with the rest:

Interesting, thanks for posting that! so one of his points is that you are really able to rape the back and sides of the head for donor hairs, and then just add a 'tattoo' system in those places to add more 'density'. this would surely work wonders for somebody who would want short sides and back, and anything from short to longer hair on the top? This was one of the plans I had in my head, but never voiced it, what do others think of this as a way of getting more on top?

Has anybody any experience with this? I want to go to the beach today and go swim in the sea, ill put dermatch in my hair to make it thicker looking as when its wet, i get very self conscious. what would be worse though is having black streaks coming down my head/face. any legit experience with derm and swimming?

I use dermmatch ocassionally to thicken stuff up, gonna give this stuff a go as its a free trial though, maybe its amazing haah

Just wondering what people thought of them as I havent seen much support over here. When I see images of the hair tattoos afterwards, they always look pretty good, and for a nearly completely bald guy, i guess its one of very few options, but then i see pictures like this and wonder why more people don't support it, as an extra means to getting just a bit more 'illusion of density' : and a few more of its uses:

so you're saying i wasn't imagining it and it was causing a side effect? I dont know, I guess only time will tell but people here seem to be pushing me towards propecia being the answer... You seem to be somewhat against the drug?
