  1. I essentially agree with what the others have posted. In my case the only pain was from the injections. After the procedure I wouldn't call it pain, maybe discomfort at the most. I was given some tylenol but didn't need to take any. The swelling started on day 2 and lasted until day 5.
  2. This is a huge difference form where you started. It's nice that you have the option of a second pass but also your hair looks great as is. Congratulations!
  3. I seriously doubt that the clinic would want you to get immunized. They just need to know if you have the condition so that precautions could be made to protect the staff if you did. Since you are negative there should be no issue.
  4. I think that was clear but the confusing part is why 2 docs think that 2,000 to 2,400 grafts would be adequate and why one doc thinks that a 4,000 graft fut procedure is almost impossible. Just click on the link to Capelli's patient website for proof to the contrary.
  5. There are several clinics doing mega sessions of that size now. You can see many examples of procedures that size on this site.
  6. How many grafts are you considering? Shopping by price is not necessarily a good idea. Having said that, my procedure in Brussels actually ended up being a little cheaper than some of the the US clinics I was researching at that time even factoring in the cost of travel.
  7. There have been some good fue results from Shapiro (SMG) posted on this site recently. Check out Dodger and Rockz. You may also want to look at results by Lindsey, True & Dorin and Jim Harris. FYI, there are some good fue docs outside of the US also. Check out Rahal in Canada and Bisanga in Belgium for some examples.
  8. Oh yes, the fryer tuck look, I know the feeling. If you like wearing your hair that short, look into docs who do fue. It's unlikely you could buz that close if you go the strip route.
  9. There are some good ht docs in Europe. I used Dr Bisanga in Brussels and had a good experience so far. You can contact his uk rep and submit some pics for an online consult. You should probably submit pics to several docs until you find the right fit. Btw, the shaved look suits you
  10. Good luck on getting the 4k. Looking fwd to the pics
  11. One thing for sure is that you have a lot of hair now. You don't seem to be balding to me.
  12. In addition to doing online consults, some of the docs travel to do consults in other countries. Also, there are some good options on your side of the water, in Belgium for example.
  13. Neal, I noticed quite a change in density between months 5 and 6. It was more gradual after that and more of maturing as you say rather than an increase in density.
  14. Dr. Rahal in Ottawa has been showing some very impressive fue results. If you're willing to travel there is Dr. Bisanga in Brussels who is my favorite.
  15. Nice write up. I think your hair is going to look great in a few months.
  16. It can also depend on what part of the scalp the work was done. I noticed redness in the hairline and temple points for months but not so much on the crown and top
  17. There are a few different scenarios it could be. It would be unlikely that its new growth but its possible. They could also be grafts that broke off just below the skin but haven't actually shed. They can grow a little and then shed or possibly keep growing. If they're still growing in about two weeks, they probably won't shed.
  18. Cap, Keeping positive is the hard part for sure at this stage. Your write up sounds like everything is as expected at this point. You're going to have a great summer
  19. You're probably thinking of hairtoday72 on this site. 7500 fue, very interesting case
  20. I agree with sapo, Brussels is not far from you.
  21. Deebo, There is definitely a contrast between what appears to be your donor area and untouched areas above and below. 3,000 fue is a lot for one session so they definitely put a dent in your donor supply but it could still recover by the time you go back to work. In other words a lot happens between day 9 and day 23.
