  1. I think the coconut oil has helped with my dryness, haven't had much at all. But now you mention the tingles on the head I am feeling them now haha! Funny how our minds are able to manifest a symptom! If only we were able to manifest instant hair growth!! Excited to see your progress pics!
  2. Hey Matt, Yeah I'm excited about te early growth Oh no I don't have itchiness, have you tried coconut oil to help? My feelings on the scalp has come back to about 70% which I'm happy about!! That was nerve racking (no pun intended haha) John, you look great! The redness doesn't seem that bad! How's your donor area doing?
  3. Decided to buzz down to a zero again on the donor (scissors for the recipient)... It really doesnt look bad (minus the pimples) it's still a little pink but in natural light it looks great. These are taken at night with flash in the bathroom. Overall the donor area seems to have taken the longest to heal (pinkness) and yes there are a few areas that have the white FUE scars, but those were to be expected for 3500 grafts and being buzzed down to a zero. I won't be buzzing it this short that often when everything is grown in, but nice to know I'll have the option when everything is healed.
  4. Yes! Here is day 54!! Still a little pink but seeing more and more little hairs sprouting through!!!
  5. Looking great! I'm going through the ugly duckling phase too. 54 days and starting to see white fuzzy hairs everywhere. How's your donor area looking? I get the occasional pimple and still a little pink (but I'm pretty fair skinned). Your graft placement looks great and the hairline looks nice and thick at the front! Very excited to see your progress!! Happy growing!
  6. Phil, Do you have photos to show? It's just a little odd that both your account and TimurBeks were cretated approx the same time and that you've both only ever commented on this thread three times for you and once for Timurbek. I think all members on here are wary when no photos are posted, no details of the operation are listed, and brand new accounts are created and just blast into a direct "Sales Pitch". I truly hope that you have had a successful surgery but photos and details would help. Best, Luke
  7. HI Ram, I have sent an e-mail asking for the density. The other questions were asked in a previous post and the doctor was not able to provide the graft breakdown. I was given a letter from the office stating how many grafts were extracted and transplanted. Hopefully will get a response this weekend Everything is still looking pretty much the same, although more and more thin whipsy white hairs are coming through!
  8. Hey Dany, It's interesting, after 49 days I realized that I dont care about my hair in the way I used to. Now I'm loud and proud about telling people I had a hair transplant rather than going to cover up the balding area. Something psychologically changes at a certian mark (mine was about the 2 1/2 week mark) where all of a sudden confidence bopstse through the roof and I didn't care that how it looked. Since I've been cutting it down to a 0 guard, I'm in love with the way I look rocking that low cut! Yeah I still have some pinkness but overall it looks better (imo). I wouldn't recommend taking a full month off, maybe 2 weeks but depends on your situatuoke. I had a very supportive work environment and told everyone prior and showed everyone immediately after. Dany, Haha I love Megamind! I think I do have a little swelling still, but I've alsp always had a bulbus shaped head. Also could be the angle my head's at, plus I lost a ton of weight and look gauntish lol.
  9. Ramos, They weren't able to provide the graft breakdown, I didn't ask about hair density or cm planted. I can see if they have that info!
  10. Hey everyone! In terms of recounting the operarion. I fell asleep for the majority of it (I was given a nightmask to use) but I spoke to the clinic and I must apologize. Dr. Cinik did the extractions, opened the recipient area, and started the placement of the grafts and final grafts. The majority were implanted by his techs, however he assures me that the techs are of high caliber and talented and that most clinics perform this way.I recall Dr. Cinik talking to me throughout the op (waking me from slumber) so just assumed he was there the whole time. While I feel like this is normal practice for some clinics. I must apologize as I thought he did the whole procedure! Needless to say I am still excited about my results and will keep you all posted on the results. Since my last post more and more white folllicles (baby) have appeared, although you have to be in the right lighting and angle to see them. I'll post some pics in the up coming days as things start to change
  11. Hi Blaze, Welcome to the forum! That's great you've looked into Dr.Cinik too. Did you already have a consultation already? I would recommend that you speak to at least 3 different surgeons in total and get familiar with their work and your expectations. What is the status of your hair loss? How old are you? How long have you suffered? I can say I never saw any phones being used during my procedure, I also fell asleep throughout the majority of it, and I would not go anywhere that could cause any contamination through negligence. Dr. Cinik was the one who performed my operation. Hope my thread helps with your experience.
  12. Thanks Fortuneplant, I'll hold off hitting the gym for a few more weeks and see if that helps. I did decide to shave the donor area last night to a 0 guard.....it looks so much better than I thought it would!! Trimmed the recipient are with scissor, still too nervous to buzz that for a few more months. Buzzing it down certainly helps blend the transplanted hairs and it's not as red as I thought! A few gross pimples on the back but hopefully will go down soon! Photos with and without flash.
  13. Wow! Looks incredible! You must be extremely happy! Congratulations!!!
  14. Well that's good to hear...haha kind of lol! Glad I'm not the only one...although I haven't really noticed the tingles recently, until right this moment that I am thinking about them haha!! When I touch my recipient area it's squishy in some spots and can leave an indentation, do you have that too? Only in a few small areas. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm guessing it's some form of swelling that's still coming out the body and hoping it's not an infection of some kind!
  15. Day 40! Hey Matty and hitherehair, I use Gaia SP and luckily haven't had any stomach side effects with this brand. Sometimes SP can unsettle my stomach and it's not fun rushing to the bathroom every 10 minutes. Thank you, I will certainly check out the article and maybe it will help alleviate some of my concerns. One thing I am nervous about is the hairs that haven't fallen out on the hairline and surrounding area...but they are growing so maybe that is a bonus! Redness has gone down in the recipient area and photos make things look worst than they are to the natural eye. Update on my donor area...little worried it's still pink and looks slightly over harvested...hopefully shockloss...Any thoughts? It's funny looking on the computer doesn't show anywhere near as bad as what I can see on my phone when I take the photos! There is a definite line on the right hand side that sticks out to me between the donor and the surrounding untouched areas. Or maybe I am just being too critical of myself!
  16. Remember where you came from. Your progress looks incredible! Yes to us who browse this forum religiously every hour we just notice the area, but it still looks great. For those who aren't privy to the HT world I'd say they wouldn't bat an eye lid of it looking strange. Don't forget cameras are more unforgiving than the naked eye! If my result comes out like that I'd be over the moon!! Happy growing bud and keep us posted!
  17. I'd also suggest applying fractioned coconut oil to the scabs over night...or baby oil. Help loosen up those scabs. The scabs seem very thick and dark which is a little unusual. Have you been working the scabs off twice daily in a gentle motion in the shower?
  18. Thank you Buxr13v! I'm excited although right now its looking so bad with redness and pimples on the back. I'm at the I'm nervous it's not going to grow stage! I dont take Fin due to side effects but fin is also the pharmaceutical version of saw palmetto, so I'd rather take a healthy whole food alternative (not whole food the store but the way it's extracted) Theres a lot of research regarding biotin and helping skin and hair growth. Doc didn't say to take it but I'm very holistic with healing approaches so it comes from my own research, same with Zinc. Zinc is just a booster for the immune system. Hope that helps
  19. Maybe I'm getting my hopes up, but is it too early to have some of the transplanted hair that shed already start growing. I see aloy of tiny white follicles on my head and they seem semi coarse? Anyone experienced that? I also still have quite a few hairs that still haven't shed on the right temple and in the hairline. Is that normal?
  20. The work looks great! Can't wait to see your result! After about 9-11 days everything looks amazing...Then the shed happens, but don't worry time flies by quickly! Keep us posted and update regularly! Happy growing!
  21. BSO is incredible stuff! Glad that it's helped with fin side effects! I'm a huge natural holistic guy, would rather heal my body that way rather than chemically produced compounds. For your Danny routine name sure that you take vitamins from a whole food source not a chemically produced source. Usually will say in the bottle
  22. Bring on the growth together mate!
  23. Day 28! The first month since I had my transplant is almost over! The time has flown by! Looking forward to being able to get back into the gym in a few days! Well my hair is officially looking worse than before (but to be expected ) a few more pimples popping up on the recipient area as well as a few in the donor. Numbing/pain in the donor area has almost gone but the recipient area still is pretty numb, it's getting better each day though. There are a few small hairs popping through which I'm hoping is some early growth, but I'll just have to wait and see. The redness in the donor area is getting better, but still looks pretty bare on the right side. Hoping that as the redness dwindles down it will become less noticeable. Still pink in the donor area too but slowly going away. I took the photos under harsh light and a less harsh light. Harsh light and photos look much worse than in person. Will keep you all posted as the days/weeks progress!
  24. Matty, Yes! Congratulations on ending the shed!! Now you're about to emerge a swan! Haha And you're right there is so much info regarding nutrition and hair loss! Really looking forward to seeing when your hair starts coming in!!
