  1. I agree some my posts may seem 'a little aggressive' ej. The reason for my tone is down to the fact that having made an honest attempt to post my experience (as a novice on hair network forums) I got instantly labelled a scam and was making one or two e pert/guru people sick. I wasn't even allowed to finish my story before I was damned. Of course I would take offence to that. When I highlight obvious discrepancies about surgeons, clinics and patient/clinic advocates disguised as hair restoration experts, people take offence yet feel within their moral right to criticise every one else who recommends a surgeon or clinic outside their referral network. People should be allowed to read every post and recommendation and make an informed decision themselves. I criticised one Dr. Because he was constantly mentioned as a great surgeon. I don't have any particular issue with that surgeon, seems like a nice chap. Just not quite the messiah they say he is on here. As are a number of other surgeons (imo). The surgeon that I had my procedure with ( Dr Shujal) in my opiniin did a great job, i had great rapor with him and am happy with my results thus far. I didnt diss anybody in my inital posts. People should be allowed to critique and praise surgeons without fear of reprimand, otherwise a forum fails to do what it is inherently meant to. Hope you all had a great weekend.
  2. Ok let me make1000 posts so I can also bask in the self annointed seats of expertise. Didn't claim I could fix it but as a patient I would want to know why the person selling me something hasn't got the end result himself. Is that so sacrilegious to ask?
  3. Lol @ ip address. Talk about paranoia. Get out a bit more fella. Why can't I call out a doctor for not having good hair, especially if he has undergone a hair transplant, owns a well known chain. The surgeon often criticises clinics in UK and abroad. As a patient my first thought is kettle, pot, black. I'm not in any way saying Dr Farjo can't do good operations, he probably can (by now). There's an obvious theme amongst a few hair transplant forums and social media sites that seem to promote the same surgeons and clinics. Whenever a new surgeon or clinic is introduced regardless of which country, there is a siege mentality by the 'experts'. People should be aware of bad surgeons, bad clinics and also incentivised forums.
  4. Lol@ Z list. KSL do manage to attract some 'never heard of them' celebs. Having said that Jake Quickenden and Mike Hussini's hair looks v.good. Surgeon did a good job. People should give an honest opinion. My point was some people on this forum just criticise a clinic and surgeons work just because it didn't look like there's. One specialist/guru dissed my operation yet when I saw pictures of his operation, it was awful. His second operation, claimed to have 4000 grafts implanted yet no more than 100 came through 8months post op but he still feels he can criticise other clinics and surgeons. I wish people could just provide honest opinions and let people choose. The industry is so well established people have enough information to help them decide where to go. I went to a less famous/well known clinic (British Hair Clinic) according to experts on here yet they did a great job for me. Surgeons were brilliant.
  5. There's a theme on this forum. Only certain clinics and surgeons are advertised on here (they like to say recommended). Recommended aka incentivised reviews. Don't dare mention a clinic or surgeon who is not on their list. They will hound you until you reveal every orifice of your body to prove your a real patient, all the while these senior/expert/guru members have professional roles as patient advocates for clinics and surgeons. Whenever they see a positive comment about another surgeon they get offended, most likely because they will lose referral fees (from the how did you hear about us section on consultation/consent forms) if patients choosing other clinics. Don't know a great deal about KSL but if dozens of celebs are going to them then they can't be that bad. Even if I had a different clinic or surgeon, I wouldn't bad mouth someone or a clinic especially if I never had contact with them. Its second nature to do so on here by the experts.
  6. Lol. Some really sensitive 'senior members on this forum. Their titles and self exoneration is laughable. Taking money from surgeons/clinics whilst claiming impartiality and expertise. a surgeon who is listed on a forum by incentivised experts doesn't make the surgeon great. It merely means he has enough in his pocket to pay for his marketing expenses. Some of the so-called experts or surgeons repeatedly mentioned on here like Farjo, the guy is bald as a babies arse yet he is constant flagged up here as being amongst the best. Why is he so bald? Look at his donor area? Is there no one who can fix his botched hair transplant? every country has decent surgeons. FUE surgery isn't rocket science, it's a fairly consistent procedure. There are plenty of people postin on social media, twitter and in whatsapp groups highlighting bad surgery from so called good surgeons. These so called top surgoens havebeen in the business long enough to have used hundreds of patients as guinea pigs whilst charging a fortune. Now they can pay for forums and experts on forums who get referral fees. There is no way to say who is a great surgeon and who isn't (the bad ones are obvious). if I was a surgeon (good ornbad) I would ask dozens of patients to leave me good reviews and offer them incentives. No surgeon in private medicine is publishing his data on success or failure rates, only incentivsed positive reviews. Plenty of good clinics out there and of course plenty to avoid. Go and see a number of clinics yourself and ask to speak to any of there patients who are willing to be interviewed. Then decide yourself. Forums like this help but aren't gospel in any way.
  7. Thanks for the thoughts Razzy. What I meant by my Mrs counting was, I got her to count after the procedure was done, she counted at home. The fact the British Hair Clinic team doesn't splice/split grafts means that compared to clinics that do splice/split grafts I have in the region 4000-6000 grafts due to high number of multiple grafts. I had over 2000 multiple grafts. Dr Shuja and the British Hair Clinic from my general feel of the place are a clinic relying on word of mouth recommendations. That is why I recommend people to meet the team and choose for themselves. You get good value for money imo. People paying ?7500 or more in London for smaller procedures than what I had by clinics who employ 2-4 additional technicians/procedure who's job is to just sit around slicing grafts. I'd rather have less grafts which are not tampered with. Hopefully I get good results in a few months. Otherwise I might have to fly across the pond as well - LOL.
  8. I managed to attach some pics. Hope it helps. I know i sounded like a sales pitch, wasn't my intention at all. Just got a bit carried away and excited. Having seen some people who had hair transplants, they claim they were given 5000grafts or more yet you can barely count 1500 grafts in there. I sat with my mrs and got her to count to 2500 and was happy I had a decent op and got value for money. I didnt suffer any significant shock hair loss, 90%+ of the implanted are still there. I was told by Dr Suja with his method, patients see good results between 9-12months post-procedure and maximum results at 14-16 months. Hopefully I can still be happy end of summer.
  9. Each time I try to upload a picture it requests a url link of the image? The image is on my phone. How do I upload my images? Apologies fo rnot knowing, this isnt the easiest of forums to navigate. With respect to accusations against anyone, I responded in like. Can't be one rule for one and different for others regardless how long they been members or contributors. Procedure type: FUE Total Graft No: 2875 Singles: 460, remainder multiples (2-5) No graft slicing or splitting. Total implainted 2875 includuing 2415 mulitples Shaved/Unshaved: Trimmed to size 1 everywhere. Untrimmed option was available. No chart to share. Price paid: ?5000GBP inclusive of 1xPRP session in summer. Doctor did medication, punching, some implantation and line drawing (twice, before the anaesthetic and again before incisions to make sure I was happy with it). Post-op done by Dr. Shuja with hair specialist consultant. Technicians did extraction of punched grafts and implantation. Will upload pics of my procedure once I can figure the forum out. Btw, I dont mind being questioned or scrutinised, just a bit surprised at how quickly people banish a novice forum member.

How many grafts did you have planted?
  11. Have you been treated by Dr Shuja? Instead of spending thousands of pounds with different doctors and flying to the states, I did my homework and stayed local. Found a good affordable surgeon that I am happy with. I have seen your pictures and your surgery in the USA looks good. Wish you well. Are there better or more experienced surgeons than Dr Shuja? I don't care, had a good operation and am happy with the progress. Not sure why that would compel you to badmouth others... is it part of your after care package or you volunteering to be hair transplant troll?
  12. Yes would definitely recommend you try Dr Shuja at British Hair Clinic. As I said earlier, am delighted at my treatment and general experience with the team at British Hair Clinic. If your donor area is still reasonable (mine wasn't great but they managed to a really good job nonetheless). Wish you all the best with yours mate.
  13. Dr Shuja Chaudhry - Top surgeon at British Hair Clinic. I was balding like Bobby Charlton and am barely 40! Needed a hair transplant from a good surgeon and didn't fancy flying abroad. Visited clinics on Harley street but they were a rip-off and they were constantly getting sales people to chase me up. Got sick of them. British hair clinic was very good value for money compared to the silly prices that some clinics were quoting me (Harley Street Hair, Wimpole Clinic, London Clinic all quoted me ?8500+). And the constant calling and emails from their sales agents - seriously guys you should learn some business etiquettes. Colin (a mate of mine) recommended British hair clinic so I went ahead for a consultation and felt at ease right away. No nonsense. told me how it was and what to expect realistically. Price offered was reasonable (?5000 for maximum coverage as my donor area wasn't the best). Compared to the rest of London and all their surgeons had an impressive portfolio of results with dozens of patient testimonials. Didn't have to pay an arm and a leg with the british hair clinic. I am so happy I chose british hair clinic and Dr Shuja done my FUE hair transplant. 5months later and I feel amazing and look great. Af, the manager is v.easy to get on with and is available whenever you have a question (regardless how silly the question might be). Great team, fantastic surgeon and lovely technicians. Facilities are great, being OCD on cleanliness and safety I was impressed with how much care they took to ensure everything was sterile. I was well-looked after and look fwd to my PRP sessions in the summer. Thanks Dr Shuja and British Hair Clinic!
