  1. often it does. so whats ur point? do a search of this forum or the internet and see the evidence to support that. and I dont see a pic of his scar do you?
  2. its ur head and ur money. how much could a plane trip cost in India? hope things work out for you but if they dont dont say u wernt warned.
  3. sorry to hear bro. thats some of the worst FUE work ive seen in quite some time. I wud just define that as early plug work. I would not go back there if THEY were paying me! doesnt even look like there are any singles up front. but as far as gettn ur money back I would just wait the three months. thats easily fixable tho. just gonna cost more money and a competent doctor.
  4. considering how bald you were pre-op id say ur lookn dam good for so few grafts considering you were a solid 5a. if u look this good this early on then 10-12 months from now ur gonna look like a new man. id say ur gonna look 15 years younger. hairline looks great. I think once it grows and fills out you will beable to grow it much longer and then you can hide that strip scar. and I agree many underestimate the possibility of a bad scar from FUT that will often widen further and further over time.
  5. steer clear from jack of all trades HT doctors. find one that specializes in hair transplants. as stated there are far better choices in India. check out Dr. Bhatti if ur lookn for FUE.
  6. wow u wernt kiddn they did butcher ur scalp the first go around. thank god there are are skilled doctors like Bisanga to repair others who should not be working on live stock let alone human beings..... well, ur end result is truly miraculous and u look like a completely different person. WTF was that original doctor thinkn? he gives new meaning to bad plugs! and chit, its not like it was performed in the early to mid 90's. it was 2003! scary! how many legs grafts were taken and where were they placed exactly? to be honest with you I would not even think ur current scar was from a HT and I would not even look twice at that and I am pretty critical and speak whats on my mind and never sugar coat anything. I wud just assume u had a childhood accident or something due to how low is. it really is a non issue now that its repaired. from more then a couple feet away im sure its not even noticable. you literally have a full head of hair now and look amazing. congrats!
  7. good point on the darker skin with dark hair. the illusion needs far less grafts then light skin with dark hair. I guess thats probably why SMP is a good idea for anyone with a lightly colored scalp. it can only help imo. but those are some pretty dark photos so its a little difficult to see clearly.
  8. sounds about right to me on average. of course the number of 2's, 3's and 4's will play a huge role in that as well as density and head size when determining if FUE will result in the moth eatn look. some have big noggins with lots more available donor grafts then others. but one could have several thousand FUE's taken from their head and have virtually zero evidence of a HT vs. having 1000 FUT grafts taken and be left with a huge disfiguring scar so not really apples to apples when determining how obvious one's HT might be when comparing FUE to FUT and the number of grafts removed. one strip removal could leave someone with a nasty scar requiring FUE to repair. I agree tho, the more strips you have the more likely that will be but one small FUT transplant could result in a bad scar. the same could not be said for FUE if its a small session when referring to poor obvious scaring as long as its an FUE doctor with any reasonable skill and experience.

  10. I honestly cant tell anything from those pics. take some better pics.
  11. 10-12 months after a HT new grafts can be transplanted in the same area again. although, I wud have waited a year. new areas is usually 6 months.
  12. looks great. love the hairline design. but, I wud agree you will need another 2000-2500 to complete the crown but chit at .50 Rs that's nothn! thats like $2300. no reason more and more ppl are going to India. great results and even better prices.
  13. sure he does. I see no reason why he could not address ur 1500 or so grafts. he may not do LARGE sessions (4000+) grafts but he surely does 1500. plan on spending about $18k. ur far better off goin to Dr. Umar imo. cheaper and maybe even better. I think they are both very skilled but feller is surely not $6k better. its questionable if he is better at all. in fact, id say he isnt. Umar only does FUE, therefore he has more experience and he also does the largest FUE session in the world so large sessions are him are routine.
  14. im not quite sure why you did SMP. you have a full head of hair. but, I will say it does look fuller so the more the merrier I guess. but once ur hair grows out you wont see anything including ur strip scar. I guess if u want to shave ur head then I can see why you did it but that kinda defeats the whole purpose of having a HT but two each his own. looks great tho. good for u.
  15. unfortunately for many HT doctor its more about $$$$$ then pride which is why so few perform FUE. it takes longer and the learning curve is much more difficult to master and they cant perform as many HT's on a yearly basis which cuts into their profit margin. not all doctors that go to medical school have the same intentions. not to say there are not great FUT surgeons out there but FUT surgeons are a dime a dozen. FUE surgeons who perform large sessions sucessfully are rare cause its more difficult which is why there are probably less then 25 in the whole world that do it on a regular basis with great results.
  16. well, some ppl have seen growth up to 16 months but like spanker stated at the 11 month mark most have seen the majority of what they are going to see. who was ur HT surgeon for both procedures?
  17. agreed. widen ur horizen. a HT just like a tattoo is forever. looking for someone local vs. looking for someone who is best can be the worst mistake of ur life. dont get sucked into a particular area due to where you live. if u have to travel accross the globe to get a HT then do it. of course there are great HT doctors in the US but their prices are gonna be high. but considering you need only 1500 grafts id be lookn to head out to Cali to see Dr. Umar. look to spend $12k or so or head over seas and get just as good results and spend $1800 + air fare and hotel so look to spend no more then $3800.
  18. lookn good. ur right on track with ur progress. absolutely ZERO evidence of a HT from the donor zone.
  19. dude, pay attention. hes not interested in another bad scar which is why he went with Dr. Bhatti to have his FUT procedure repaired via FUE....
  20. nice to see doctors taking the time to create natural looking hairlines vs. the same ole same. thats quality right there. guy looks 10 years younger.
  21. there will always be unsatisfied patients. with top rated surgeons it is highly unlikely it was from doctor error tho. the "X" factor comes into play no matter who performs a HT on a patient and often the patient doesnt adhere to proper post surgery care and then wants to blame the HT doctor.... but if a HT patient has unsatisfactory results the HT doctor can either be a MAN or a MOUSE about it and either perform another transplant or refund his or her money or be a complete coward like some have done and ignore the patent. Dr. F has never been know to do the latter.
