  1. if u take grafts from an area that is not resistent to DHT it will make no difference if they are from FUT or FUE so what exactly is ur point? are you implying that those who have had FUE have grafts that are likely to fall out sooner then if they were taken via FUT?
  2. really? so what about hairs taken from the beard and body? where do they fall in the "sweet" spot? see this is where the misinformation comes from when talking about large FUE cases when the doctor giving said advice doesnt perform BHT on a regular basis. factor in beard and body hairs (which can result in 10,000+ EXTRA grafts) and sweet and safe zone arguments go right out the door....

  4. still waiting to hear what those concerns are? this is an open forum where were supposed to educate one another on why we should or should not chose a particular HT doctor but I have yet to hear any of those so-called concerns. lets hear em so we can all be educated. casue imo to call out a HT doctor who is obvioulsy doing excellent work and then never publish what those concerns are so he can defend himself is irresponsible. those that are new to the forum would simply automatically assume that his work is inferior and would therefore not chose him.
  5. another FUT gut getting his panties in a knot.... how original.
  6. yep, I think 10-20 years from now we will look back on FUT as being the gold standard and chuckle and just shake our heads..... I think FUE is here to stay for quite a while but I honestly believe it will be phased out as well as soon as HM and stem cell are perfected.
  7. lol...yea ur right. I remember hearing the same garbage back when Dr. wodz came onto the scene. its amazing what some doctors will say to cast a poor image of other doctors when they feel threatened by their skillz.... seems to be quite a bit of that going on here behind the scenes with Dr. Bhatti. opinions dont mean chit! RESULTS speak for themselves. I can also remember Dr. True bashing FUE about 10 years ago yet I seen him at Dr. Wodz seminar in NY city back in like 2001 when he came here to present his technique in attempt to get other HT doctors on board with his procedure.
  8. have to disagree with the number of grafts availble with FUE vs. FUT. FUT only allows grafts taken from head. FUE allows grafts to be taken from the entire body which is why Dr. UImar is able to transplant 15000-20000 grafts. there isnt any FUT doctors transplanting that many grafts from ones head.

  10. wow look at those beard pics. there is absolutely ZERO signs of scarring. all the more reason to utilize FUE over FUT.
  11. I chuckle when seeing these threads. it just completely and utterly dismisses the theory that if someone needs a LOT of grafts cause they are NW5 , 6 or 7 their only option is FUT. utter nonsense....
  12. where did I state ALL hair transplant surgeons were unethical, greedy and ruin peoples lives? if ur gonna quote me on something then get ur facts straight. there are plenty of hard working doctors on this forum. no one is disputing that.
  13. no, what im saying IMO is that he creates a more natural looking hairline that isnt too high. to me NATURAL is close to what you had before u started losing ur hair. maybe not the exact same density but the same general area. personally, I dont see the point in having a HT if ur just gonna look less bald by creating a high hairline. others feel differently. if ur donor hair is limited then obviously the doctor has to spread out the grafts and the hairline will be placed higher but if u have plenty of donor hair (head, face, body) then save up more money and get it done right the first time. thats how I feel about it but the majority dont need that many grafts so its more affordable to them. but for those needing 5000-7000 grafts affording a HT surgeon is just a pipe dream for them unless you go outside the US or Europe. OR you opt for FUT and thats not something I am interested in personally. HT doctors charging $35k-$50k for 2-3 days of work is a rip-off imo which is why doctors like Bhatti are and will continue to become more popular. 6000 grafts at $6-8 a grafts will result in $35-50k and thats on the low side considering many charge more. thats absured! a complete face lift from world class plastic surgeon dosent even charge that much. a HT is no facelift.... but because those who have lost their hair are some of the most desperate people on earth (I speak from experience:rolleyes:) when it comes to ellective surgery I feel HT doctors take advantage of that desperation and rip people off. competition continues to drive the price down thank god.
  14. I wud say do more homework. clinics that no one has heard of shud be avoided like the plague imo but its ur head and ur money..... ur on ur way to being a solid NW7 and you do not have enough donor hair in the donor zone. ur hair is already thinning in ur donor zone and ur scar will be very noticable. ur gonna have to look into a doctor that performs FUE so u can extract beard and body hairs if u want 6000 grafts.
  15. how do you know it isnt? this is a one-sided story and never heard it happen to any of his patients in the past nor have I heard it happen to any other patients from any other doctors so id say it was more likely his inability to keep the wound clean.
  16. yea and there are always TWO sides of a story with the TRUTH lieing somewhere in the middle.....
  17. looks great for so few grafts. but thats quite a comb over. nonetheless, amazing results with so few grafts. especially since he is much closer to a NW6 or maybe even NW7.
  18. then you didnt keep your wound clean. you allowed bacteria to enter. thats not the doctors fault thats YOUR fault.
