  1. spread to who? ever hear of an autoclave? HIV doesn't survive open in the air for more than a few minutes. ud think after all these years the ignorance behind HIV would be over but apparently not....
  2. one word Dr. Bhatti. the rest posted are great but you need too many grafts and unless ur wealthy a trip to India is a far better option imo.
  3. u need to be more specific. are u lookn for FUT or FUE. and what age are you and what NW class are you? as stated location should be ur last concern. price and quality should be ur first concern and unfortunately price here in the states is outrageous! quality is good but ur gonna pay 3 to 4 times more here then abroad. if u only need 1500 grafts or so not a big deal. if u need 4000-6000 grafts then price is a big deal.
  4. well, then a recommended doctor at least. how long does that generally take and what would disqualify him or anyone else from being recommended?
  5. failure? 2200 grafts is hardly enough grafts to cover ur head. but failure? sorry, I dont mean to laugh but that's hardly a failure by any stretch of anyone's imagination. between 6 months and a year is the standard to see final results so im not sure about having another HT now. you may be closer to a year then 6 months to see final results. but in most cases by 9 months you've seen most of what ur gonna see imo. I get that ur wanting to look good before summer and the thought of having another HT probably doesnt give u a warm and fuzzy feeling. imo you need another 2500-3000 grafts but could probably get by with less. im certainly not gonna BS u and tell you its dense enough. it clearly isnt. but I dont think ur HT doctor lied to you or mislead you. actually, I think he did a pretty good job with the number of grafts he had to work with. looks like u got plenty of donor hair bro so be happy with the fact that you WILL look great after one more session. many people would be quite excited to look as good as you do right now. not that that probably means chit to u right now but id say ur glass is half full not empty.
  6. from the patient results I have seen from Dr. Bhatti over the last year or so he seems to be one of the most impressive FUE HT doctors on this forum or any other forum that matter and has some of the most reasonable pricing as well. he seems to have some of the largest FUE sessions I have seen with great results and also performs excellent body hair transplants. I have personally emailed him on several occasions to ask various questions and I was hoping to hear back from him with in a few days and I hear back from him within hours not days! that may not be all that important to some but thats monumental to me. I have read what the forum requirement are to be recommeded but how many positive patient results are required for a doctor to be recommeded? is there a time frame or is it a case by case?
  7. 115 follicular bundles per cm2 wow! great hairline placement. at least some doctors get it. great work! could probably use another 1000 grafts up front imo but nonetheless he went from being bald to having essentially a full head of hair.
  8. Dr. Bhatti what race is that patient? im assuming Indian but I dont want to assume. any chance you might beable to provide pics of his chest donor area and how that healed? one more thing.... will a patient benifit from having laser scar revision in the donor zone under the jaw line? I know they have all kinds of high speed lasers out there to remove or should I say lessen the appearance of a scars these days. have any of ur patients had to under go such a procedure or chosen to under go such a procedure when taking beard hairs out?
  9. looks great! im sure it will look a hell of lot better then it did before once it heals up completely.
  10. the only thing I might have liked to see is less of an acute angle where the new planted hairs meet if thats the correct way to describe it. personally, I think it would look a little more natural if the angle was slightly rounded off vs. being so sharp. maybe a few singles in and around that area. its just my opinion. in no way am I saying it looks poor cause I would be happy then a pig is chit to have as much hair up on my head like urs does now.
  11. well, some people have lots of singles vs. doubles and triples and donor zone plays a role as well. tough to say. also, the size of ur head and how many grafts required will dictate how many grafts you will need to fill in the balding area. thickness of ur donor hair as well as density like MPB stated plays a role and of course ur own bodys ability to heal plays a role in scaring as well as what size instrument is used to extract the donor hair. many variables. not all NW5 or NW6 patients have the same size head either. therefore, some may need less hair to cover their blading areas and other may need more. NW is just a classification. if ur head is the size of a basketball vs. vollyball you would need more hair to cover the balding area. you also have beard and body hairs that can be extracted. have you considered beard or body hair?
  12. he has already stated that he is not interested in an ear to ear scar. just because ur office Dr. cant do it doesnt mean others cant. thats quite a big ASSumption ur makn there considering beard and body hairs can be utilized as well. and not to mention Dr. Bhatti has already done 4000 grafts from the head alone so ur NOT possible comment isnt even close..... http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/167897-hair-transplant-dr-tejinder-bhatti-darling-buds-chandigarh-india.html
  13. who uses a 1.00 mm these days? I was under the impression that 0.8 was the norm.
  14. so what is the general opinion on the number of grafts that can be taken via FUE and NOT result is highly visible scaring? it seems to vary from doctor to doctor. I guess the size of the donor area would dicdate that.
  15. ur right. I am beating a dead horse here.... really I just wanted to see some poor FUE pics but somehow the thread went south. lol... blown buicks. got that right! most unreliable POS car I have ever owned and still the funnest! no I dont own a GNX but have owned plenty other turbo regals:)
  16. lol...well, you make some valid points Aaron. and I hear on why would one cut their hair so short if what they were tryn to do it put the hair back that they have lost? but some like to style their hair short. I happen to cut my hair short but that's probably because im so bald that I dont have much of choice:rolleyes: so if I had a full head of hair I too would likely grow it longer and the scar would not be an issue. I think I just like having the option of cutting it short and considering I have hair on my body like a Gorilla:mad: I have pretty much unlimited donor body hair so I guess its hard for me to relate to those that are limited to head hair only. I really would never want to grow my hair longer then an inch or two on top and likely pretty short on the sides so utilizing body hair for me is a non issue even if it doesnt grow longer then 2 inches. im pretty confident it would grow 4-5 inches cause some of my body hairs are 1-2 inches now! really hate my body hair. probably as much as I hate the lack of hair on my head. Grrrrrr:mad: I was lookn at some of those photos I posted and ur right the scars really arent that bad if the hair was long but I guess its just a personal choice one makes. at least we have choices now cause when I first entertained FUE the only doctor around was Dr. Woooodz and I just could never afford what he was asking plus the travel expense to Aussiland. I actually went to his first open seminar in NY City many years ago but personally I was never really all that impressed with his work. I always felt that he was too conservative on the placement of the hairline. Doctors were not allowed to attend but I did see Dr. True hiding in the back of the room peaking his head in.... Dr. Woooodz seen him and wasn't very happy about it. I mean look how far the HT world has come in the past 10 years? I joined here well over a decade ago and have popped in here and there but now with so many good reasonably priced FUE doctors out there I feel there is real hope now.
  17. personally, I'll take my chances with beard and body hair before im left with multible scalpings on the rear of my head leaving permanent scaring for the whole world to see. and then having to worry about people say ....."that dude must have had a HT" not that we should be all that worried about what others think but the fact is we do worry about it cause if we didnt then none would be concerned about noticable scaring.... I guess its all about personal choice but imo its more about people not wanting to save their money for FUE which may require quite a few body hairs to attain the results one might get from FUT. but, without the tell-tale scar SOME are left with. I see there have been plenty of pictures posted pertaining to the lack of scaring one will get from FUT. but, there are far more examples of really bad FUT scaring that are a reality for many patients vs. FUE. still waiting for all the bad FUE scaring pics. im sure there has got to be more. NOT punch scars. FUE scars.
  18. I have narrowed it down to a couple surgeons from India. cost of course is a factor but I feel that Indian HT doctors are as good as any when it comes to FUE from either the head, face or body. lets face it, go into any American hospital and you will see Indian doctors everywhere. they are very skilled and intelligent. a HT from an Indian doctor imo will be as good as any here in the states at 1/3rd the price! im leaning towards Dr. Bhatti but keeping my options open.
  19. those pics u posted look great. thanx! how many grafts were taken from those patients and how bad was their hair loss prior to surgery. without that info its hard to appreciate their final resut.
  20. Dr. Bhaitti seems to really understand hairline placement. imo other HT docs can learn from his more agressive approach vs. making many patients look like they have Traction Alopecia after spending thousands to look better.
