I will waigh it out and make some decisions probally in the next 4 months. I kinda want a regimen that is low low maintenance. I think If I could go and dense pack another 4000 without shock loss I would be sitting awesome, but thats what sucks. How dense can you go without shocking exsisting native hair? Untill I totally understand this I will wait. Frankly I would love to just have more hair and not deal with any fillers or shampoos, just my propecia and a lot of ht hair. Not that i am not greatfull for whre I am at. I have made unbelievable progress and am extatic, just feeling a little greedy

I have been on propecia for over a year. I dont want to do rogaine- Im to lazy and know I wouldnt keep up with it. I am going to cut my hair shorter at the 12 month mark and go up to shapiro and talk to Dr Shapiro and Matt and see what they think, and weigh it all out. When I went to see them I had gel in my hair and it was a little longer and does make it look thicker. I wont do a ht under 2500 grafts- not worth it to me.

I have been involved with this comunity over a year and am surprised at all the changes that have taken place in the last year. Its one of the reasons i am waiting on doing another HT.

Hi gorphy, Its hard for me to tell, you are the density pro, lol. It looks like mine, probally looks good dry, but looks thin wet. how do you feel about your density? Looks completely natural.

I know you guys are right, and when I first met Matt zupan at shapiro he told me we are always our biggest critics. I know i certainly am!! I am very happy with my results. I am also pretty tall 6'2 so most wouldnt see my top unless I bent down, which looks great a longer length. Thanks for the support and advise guys.

I am a few days past my 10 month post op. A few people have asked about my hair being spiked, it looks way to to thin!!! I have found it looks best a little longer than where I have it now combed streight forward, with a litt spike in the front. I am going to wait a bit and see what the next few months bring. When i have my hair at the right length and right hair style it looks like a full head of hair. I go back and fourth on should I get another procedure or not. I will go back to shapiro in about 3-4 months and see what they can do. The big concern is if I have another 2500-300-, it might shock out my native hair and i wouldnt have really made any progress, however if it didnt I would have pretty thick hair. So for now I am going to wait and see how things progress in the industry as well.

I looked again at your over head and 6 month post op. That is incredible. I had my best months 7 months forward. So you still have more results to come yet. How has this expirience effected you? what do people say?

I want to see way better pics before i say anything. The better pics the better advice.

joe, Im sure you get tired of Everytime Hasson and Wong push the envelope you are questioned. It would certainly be a lot easier to follow the pioneers, than be the lead, but I thank you for always chiming in. The scar kinda freeked me out, but I totally agree with you, lets let the results speak for themselves, london hopefully you will continue to document your progress all the way through a year with good one month photos.

I tried dermatch and dont like the way my hair felt to the touch. I will try toppik one of these days.

I guess seeing that scar freeked me out, but someone had said maybe if recesion becomes a factor they could fue some hair into the scar. I think everyone wants to get to an end result asap and hopefully this person will help this debate by keeping a journal. if in 6-8 months he has amazing results, then it is the indefintae result that is in question that only time will tell. To Bushy, you seem very intelligent and a great debater, no doubt a great attorney, but I dont always listen tot Doctors, justbecause they are doctors. I was aweight lifter and was having shoulder problems and the doc recommended me getting on pain pills!!! If I would have taken his advise I no doubt would have ruined my shoulder, I took my own advise and stopped training and healed. Also look at all the docs who have butchered people. I know Hasson and wong have and elite name for themselves, and have done a ton of HT, but each person should still evaluate the info the doc advises then weigh it out themselves. I think you would agree.

I was very hard on you at one point, but you have turned out to be a great guy and have offered a lot to this community, sorry for my harsh words in the past. you are very mature for your age, you will be fine.

I just got back from shapiro today. I talked to Matt and Janna they both agreed at this point that my hair has been restored to a point that its not worth another session now. Matt Gave me some dermatch to try so i will play with that. I will take 10 month post op pics in the next couple days.

That may be a record in one sitting Ht graft count, but it also looks like a record long strip. B, I would way rather have 3-4 Hts than a strip from one side of my head to the other. I also think that the scar could fall out of the sweet spot and one day the scar become an issue. My scar is small in length and I wouldnt want it any longer.

I shaved my head too, I loved it, I could be ready to go in seconds!! The problem was noone else liked the way it looked on me, lol. I still got girls, but I am tall and lanky with a pin head, so it didnt work for me, but i tried it first. now i love having hair!!!

I agree with Hairbank who has been a faithfull respected contributor to this comunity for some time. You are also in a position to help others with your expirience. I would recommend you document your results take lots of pics start a web blog and lets see what happens, maybe you will have great end results, but document it and lets see. the good news is your probally have donor left to have a top doc fix it, IF it doesnt turn out. Slick, this is the fun part when you get around the 4 month stage. You could really tell a difference between your 7 months pics from propecia, thanks for sharing that. I learned from my hair that about a number 5 on the sides and a little longer on top and my hair looks a lot thicker, I was cutting it to a number 8 on top. Your recovery looks perfect, totally undetectable. My hairloss was about like yours and I had similair size procedure from the same clinic, it will be fun to watch you progress, thanks for sharing

I think you have a great plan moving forward. The work is in place now you just need a good fill in.

I agree with you Gorphy. Dr E, Run your buisness how you see fit your doing great work, very noble thing you did for that burn victum I read on here. Sometimes people can get caught up in numbers, and its always built into the profit one way or another, or the buisness simple goes away. I personally wouldnt get caught up in the consult fee, its a very small hurdle for a great Ht.

Can you post some pics so we cvan get a better idea of where your at? Also how come you dont want to do the shaved head?

Do you have much hair now? Some hair on top can cover a lot and go a long ways. Down time was huge for me to, Im in front of clients all the time and my appearance does count. I went to shapiro and they didnt shave my head, just gave me a short haircut and it worked, I had a party for my son with about 25 peeple at my home hatless and noone knew i had this done and a head full of stitches. A major factor is how much hair you have on top and, I have olive skin so i didnt have really any reddness. The reddness can linger for some a long time. I think mega session would be out if you want a quick recovery.

I have never heard anything bad about his work, and recently there was a post about him helping a little girl who was a burn victum for free. Maybe it was a fluke situation. What other docs are you considering?

i had a shed late in the game, I think it was at 6 months- sucked, but now it has come back.

Wow huge difference in the last 2 weeks. you are definatley in the fun stages of a ht, you have a lot more to come too!!!! So what have people said?
