  1. Dear BigGuyPHX, Cheer up, Brother. I got my HT from Bosley as well (in San Francisco.) It was September 2006. So far, great improvement. I came first time HERE after the surgery and was pretty scared reading all these negative stuff about Bosley. I'm still not sure I did the right thing and for the 2nd surgery will, probably, go to some other place. By the way, my scar area was hurting for almost 3 (!!!) months, be prepared for the worst, OK? And, of course I hate to see this scar (looks really ugly if I cut my hair short) but can do nothing about it. Take care and keep us posted. Alec.
  2. Thanks a lot, again. I bought expensive, real Propecia today and got rid of Finpecia. Take care, Alec.
  3. Thank You so much, Family, looks like I was an idiot when I bought it. Don't wanna take any risks. I will go to Bosley and buy real Propecia. Thanks a lot, again. Alec.
  4. Dear Folica, Thank You for Your answer. However, I'm still confused. Should I take it and it will work as real Propecia or should I get rid of it and go to Bosley to buy expensive Propecia ?
  5. 1. I love I have more hair now. 2. I hate I can't cut them short because of this ugly scar.
  6. Hello Family, I had a surgery from Bosley last September. Went well, so far. I was taking Propecia that I bought from them. It has worked for me very weell. About 1 month ago I finished all of it and... I decided to buy this medicine on my own for cheaper price, ha ha. However, I made a mistake, I guess. Today I received Finpecia (Generic Propecia?„?) in blister strips of 10 tablets. It does not look like Propecia from Bosley. Is it complitelly different medicine and I made a mistake? What should I do? Start taking it or go to Bosley and buy real Propecia and get rif of these ones? Sorry, if my questions sound stupid. Alec.

  8. Dear Its752, I've done mine 1,553 graft with Bosley in San Francisco office in September 2006. First, when I read posts about Bosley here, I got very scared. However, 8 months have gone, and so far so good. People compliment my hair and I see the difference as well. Mega-session? I will, probably, go for it, not with Bosley, thought. Of course, if I have a choice between 2-3 small procedures or 1 big one, I will choose 1 procedure. Thanks a lot for the answer. P.S. Any suggestion on a good HT doctor in San Francisco or Bay Area? Take care, Alec.
  9. Dear Its752, What do You mean by "mega-session"? Sorry, I'm kinda new here. Take care, Alec.
  10. Hi Family, Wow !!! I couldn't expect to get so many answers in just 2 days !!! You, guys, are AMAZING !!!!!!!!!! It feels so good to have so much support here. Definitely, I will STAY AWAY from that place www.bevhills.com and do my best to inform others. By the way they advertised in many magazines and newspapers, it's how I heard about them. Love You all. Be happy. Alec.
  11. Dear Bayer, what EXACTLY the difference between "micrografts, minigrafts and Fleming/Meyer flap." and "normal" hair restoration procedure, at, let's say, Bosley? Thanks a lot !!!
  12. They --- www.bevhills.com claim that they are much better than any other hair restoration methods. Did anyone try it? Ot is i all bul? P.S. And, if someone tried, can You, please, post pictures and prices. Tnaks a lot, Alec.
  13. Dear Thirumbu, I'm 32 and also live in San Francisco. I had my Bosley procedure on 09/23/06. So far, pain is gone (I mean my scar area) and hair look better than before the procedure. Many people have notice it, and it feels good, ha ha !!! However, I'm also prepare for shock hair loss. I also take Propecia daily. The scar visiable and it bothers me a lot, because I like to cut my hair N3. I heard many bad stuff on this and other forums about Bosley and all I can do now is to continue taking Propecia and wait for the next 9-10 months to see my results. My advice - spend A LOT of Your time here before You choose who would be Your Doctor. I've read many good stuff about Sheldon S. Kabaker, MD (He's office is in Oakland). So far, ONLY good stuff. So first I plan to go to see Him in about 3-4 months to talk how to cover my first scar, and PROBABLY I will do a second procedure with him, as well. P.S. Start taking Propecia and multivitamins NOW, OK? Good luck, Alec.
  14. I'm 32 years old male. I have dark areas under and above my eyes since I was 14 or something. They ARE very visible because when I start new job or go to school people make jokes about it. I have tried many circle erasers. NONE of them work. Now I bought very expensive 'Hylexin' and for 2 months there are no changes. Is there are any operation to remove them? It is my only hope !!! I've heard about it but couldn't catch the name of it. I wrote "it's kind of topic", because after my procedure with Bosley 15 days ago they became REALLY UGLY. After the procedure, areas under and, especially, below my eyes were swollen a lot for more than 6 days and after swollen is gone my dark areas look just horrible. I sleep normal 7-8 hours a night. I'm slim, exercise 4-6 days a week, walk about an hour a day, in perfect physical shape, but my dark circles killing me. Yesterday, at work, 3 people asked me why do I look like I was parting for a week with no sleep? Please, help me, I'm so depressed !!! Alec.
