  1. I think that is very good advice. I would love to hear what the docs have to say , if you could keep us in the loop.
  2. Dhuge, I do feel bad for you that you are in this postion. I think you should do a online consult with a few of the big names and see what they say and recomend. Go in for a dense packing and put it behind you.
  3. Wow, when I looked at your over head from before and now its amazing transformation!! Have people said anything? I also went through that late shed and it did come back as Hairbank said it would, but kinda freeks you out. Great results, Im happy for you.
  4. My hairloss is very similiar to yours and I dont think it would be enough. I dont think you could get 50cms squared with 1500 graphs. I think hairbank said it right 2500. it looks like you are thin on the bridge too, same as me. you should go all over and try for consistancy on top and not in a couple areas. Consult a few places and do yourself a favor. If you get the same answersd from all places then choose who is best for you. You can also do online consultations. checkout my blog for pics I think you will be able to relate to my hairloss. I had mine done at 32
  5. Pcc, rent a time to kill and you will see a much thinner head of hair on him.
  6. M&m, thats what I was thinking. One more probally 2000-3000 grafts and I would be sitting very good. I would consider my Ht a total success. I have made a great improvement, completely undetectable results, and only 7-8 days downtime. Still many people who see me regularly dont know I had this done. It really doesnt get any better than that. I think my next one will have more down time because I will need to cut my hair much shorter, but maybe I will get lucky again. Thanks all for the kind words as alway I will update again every month for a year.
  7. I am very happy so far. I might go back and have another one done for density, but Im also happy with where I am at. Length is maybe 2 and half inches. I will try to remember to take a pic of it spiked when its wet. I tried to take really close up pictures under bright lights in the bathroom so you could see density. I would guess 30-40 cm2. but will have a better estimate after seeing shapiro in october.
  8. 9 months post op. I let my hair grow out a bit in this pictures and it looks a little thicker. What do you think???
  9. yes im happy with my results. I have not cut my hair in a month and will be posting my 9 month post op pics on friday. It definatley looks thicker a little longer. Ill be curious what others think.
  10. Shapiro is great, the whole staff and they have a great reputation for looking out for your best interest as well as doing great work.
  11. Funny story, I was thinking about I will be coming up on 10 months post op and counted the months, actually it will be 9 months, lol. How do I change my heading from almost 7 months, I wanted to update it in a few days with some new pictures, that will be 9 months post op.
  12. Thats a good look for you. I went through the same late shed. Have you heard of anyone shedding so late? Do you still use any cocealers with short hair, or cant you?
  13. I think if you hit the tanning booth and the gym you could pull off the shaved head look good and its a lot cheaper
  14. kinda sucks, get a Ht to pick up more chicks, get on propecia and now you dont want them Hairbank, great info on the shed I did not know that am aproaching the 7 week mark so hopefully it will all come back. My shed happened very late in the game
  15. awesome transformation!!! I agree i have only seen great work from epstien. What do you guess your density is now? and what do you guess it was going back to epstien?
  16. Bob one thing I have noticed about you is you seem very sincere, you have made this wonderfull transformation, but not arrogant about it. Maybe that is the blessing of losing your hair only to regain it back. It keeps the ego in check. And I agree its way better for pickin up chicks and finding one to maybe settle down with
  17. mine came at about 6 months post op, i had been on propecia for about 9 months. It sucked!!
  18. I have read negitive things about dr A for using other doctors work and claiming it to be his own, I have never read any bad posts on his work.
  19. Dr. Scott Alexander , great work!!! I also applaud you for the great pics that clealy show what was done, thank-you. keep up the graet work.

    update

I agree with the other comments. I think the spacing is way to far apart and it doesnt look to me like 1579 even. I think if you compare immediate post op pics from top docs recommended on this forum they look better than your 7 days post op. I think you will need to go back and have another session done and this tme it will be night and day difference if you use a top doc.
  21. Janna, I am a big fan of Shapiro and will be in soon to see Matt for a 10 month follow up, but I have to admit you need to update your site and have better pictures. Your site does not reflect how great your clinics work is.
  22. Both Drs you mentioned are great and have a great reputation on this forum. I will have gone to both myself. Im going back to Shapiro for my second ht only because of location. All your questions are also great as well. Call and talk with DR Rose himself, or call Matt Zupan at shapiro, or call both. They are very approachable and helpfull. I would recommend you to do that for your next step.
  23. congrats for taking the plunge. Once you go through it , it really is amazing how much labor is involved with all of this. I had DR Rose who used to office out of there and loved the staff also. I will be going back for a consult at 10 months with Matt(he is a great guy too, and knows his stuff). I am approaching 9 months post op and am thrilled with my results, you will be too. I would also love to see some before and after pics if you care to share them.
