Regular Member JohnWake Posted June 11 Regular Member Share Posted June 11 I’m at 2 months today after the transplant and it looks so bad what do you think can be a chance that the transplant failed or something ?
Regular Member donpizmeov Posted June 11 Regular Member Share Posted June 11 (edited) Have you heard about the ugly duckling period? At 2 months your probably in your worst period - in a few months it should get better so chin up! 🙂 Edited June 11 by donpizmeov

Surely you learned during your research that this is what happens in the first 3 months of a HT? Everything looks exactly as it is supposed to at this stage. You don't see things start to turn a corner until close to the 4 month mark.

Regular Member YodaHead Posted June 12 Regular Member Share Posted June 12 This is normal and expected at 2 months. It is called the ugly duckling phase that lasts for 3 months. All transplanted hair will fall off but the root remains intact. Things will start to sprout after 3 month mark. 12.5k grafts with Dr. Felipe Pitella in Jan 2024. Moderators Al - Moderator Posted June 17 Moderators Share Posted June 17 Yep. As the others have said, you're in the worst phase of the hair transplant. It's normal and pretty much everyone has to go through it. It starts getting better in another month or 2.
