Thanks Man, this is quite amazing, I couldn’t tell you have any work done on it, totally invisible, my blank area is quite wider, hope it works on me too

Thanks again, you have a good day

It will kill the contrast between your donor hair and the color of your scar. That alone will make a big difference. Then later on if you farm in beard hair it will not only vascularize the scar but also disguise the scar even more. All the best!

You never wanted FUT then why you went for FUT and FUE

Was your donor density less?

Also you said you got 4000 hairs from the FUT and FUE combo but how many grafts were implanted?

Care to share your results?

They said wouldn’t be good if I go for FUE only, most of the people said I have good donor density, so I don’t know, they are experts. They count as Hairs, 1 graft is like normally 1-3 hairs, I guessed nearly 2500-3000grafts they implanted, and you can check the previous msg for more details of the story, so stressed to talk about, sorry

@Burns fue hopefully , give it a few months mate you'll feel a little better 🤕

Maybe contact a few more doctors see if they are experienced in massive FUE HT surgery before further discussion. It’s a life change decision, don’t rush.

From the photos I saw, you definitely have good donor. I think they wanted you to do FUT because maybe it would have been easier on their end since FUE requires more labor. Do you know if they do multiple surgeries a day?

Yeaa… I was exactly thinking the same, I just so tired to argue with them, since they rescheduled my appointment, and also when I was done with my HT, I saw another patient was on his go already. And Doctor is quite famous in Korea, no doubt he had tight schedule, but still that was my decision and my fault even under that much pressure that moment, I should stand up for myself

Hi Burnsy,

I had 1000 grafts put into the FUT scar. 500 beard, 500 scalp. The crown and mid scalp got a total of 2600, all scalp hair. The 1st crown picture [14 months post  operation] show what 1800 implants have done to the overall look and the density?

It was about 1800 crown and the rest [800] in the mid scalp to strengthen behind the hairline.

Their concern was a lack of blood flow may impede regrowth of the FUT implants, so i am assuming that is the reason i had no regrowth, rather than a botched job.

After going to Eugenix i visited an SMP specialist Adrian [Gatsby] suggested, and whilst they were really helpful, they wanted me to wait about 6-8 months post op to see how the scar implants worked. Now we know it was a fail, i can visit to see if i can get an SMP job as good as Adrian's was.  With the harvesting of the donor area looking miserable still, the visibility of the scar still pronounced, and the crown looking meagre, not to mention a fail on my eyebrow job, it was a real sloppy turnout, overall, that has shocked me deeply. Hopefully a good Scar SMP job may at least brighten my life.

Thanks for your sharing mate, I m not so sure I can tell which picture is transplanted? Are you saying the first picture is 14months after the HT surgery ? And there have none regrowth after they transplanted 2600grafts of your hair? What did the Doctor say then? They blamed to the blood flow of your scalp?

Yes you are correct. the first picture is 14 months after 2600 implants were done on the crown and just forward of the crown. According to the Doctor the implants they did were visible enough to claim that it was an ok job! The scar pictures are 2 months  after the implants and 14 months after, [with the longer hair covering] the scar. The last is my original crown when i was looking to do the job. To me i thought 2600 could of been a little better job, but.......?

Yes totally, nearly5000hairs? Should be much better than this, I honestly don’t think this is a successful done, were you doing FUE+FUT? You should share your experience and let people know which Doctor was that, Doctors should know how struggling we already are when we dealing with hair loss, they really should do better, I hope you feel way better when you have your SMP done, please stay positive, you are not alone.

It was Eugenix's Dr. Arika who did the slits, and the young, technicians did the implants. It was FUE only. Doctor Arika was somewhat surprised with the crown's condition after 14 months, but said even though the hairs were very fine and small, all of the hairs implanted were visible?! So i am supposed to now suck this up, and deal with my hurt, confusion, frustration and misery alone, knowing that it is the end of the road for me with this whole process.

I feel it was a waste of time, and money, and really it did not reach any of the expectations and hype i had read from many here, that convinced me to go there.

Pretty disillusioned with the it all now.

For anyone who is trying to cover a FUT scar, you shouldn't pack grafts in too tight. Because of the scar tissue and blood supply, you have to space the grafts apart. There is a better chance of good growth that way. It may take you two sessions to cover the scar properly, but that's better than throwing 1000 grafts at it all at once and end up with nothing growing.

Sounds logical BeHappy, but unfortunately it was already done by 'The Experts' at Eugenix, who never mentioned that to me, nor did they do this!  Perhaps they aren't as knowledgeable in this field, so for future clients you could be Eugenix's spokesperson, and suggest this! They did comment it was an extremely wide and lengthy scar so 1000 implants barely scratched the surface-it wasn't like it was packed as Times square at 5pm on a a Friday evening, there were gaps visible.  But to actually have no regrowth at all has left me dumbfounded and saddened beyond belief.

Thank you for telling us, good advice!

They were totally BS, I dunt think they do the job right, they might alrdy damage the follicles before they implanted on your crown, they should take responsibility for that after they wasted that much of hairs and all the money but for nothing, way below average.
