Hey I want to ask. Which part of the surgery did dr. Couto do? did he do all the implantation?

Quería preguntarte si puedes decirnos si Couto hizo toda la cirugia, solo la implantación o parte de la implantación

Everything, extraction and implantation is done under the continuous supervision of Dr Couto. In the first place it is the person doing the extractions who starts and performs the extraction, then Dr. Couto maps out the implantation zone where he organizes the distribution of the units and the placement patterns. Then the other doctor starts the implantation and does a part of the posterior implantation. Dr. Couto completes the posterior implantation and then performs the entire frontal implantation.

In the same way, and as Dr. Couto explained to me, Dr. Couto is in charge of the implantation in all the frontal areas, temples, and performs all the implantation work in repair cases. And each and every hair transplant is done with the help of a lovely group of nurses.

@EvansLawrence  so that you have a better overall idea, this photo is quite good since you can see the area where the implantation was performed by the other doc.

Happy summer Everyone!

My current look just 4 days  from getting to 3 months of my HT with Dr Couto.
Something is moving up there already.
And my donor area is spectacular. And whenever I touch it, which is continuously, well the feeling is that I have the same hair as always. I can't believe they took 4,000 grafts.

Organizing photos these days because my mobile phone constantly tells me that I have to delete due to lack of space. The bad thing is that after spending everything on grafts now I can't afford a mobile with more space: lol:

This photo enjoying the first date with my wife a week later, I like it a lot.
The design that Dr Couto has made me seems just perfect for me. If I stayed like this I would be happy already. I think I look much younger.

Going through all the photos and looking at my head with all those grafts. I think a hair transplant is a miracle. That a doctor could be able to place 4,000 grafts all in the right direction and then those grafts being able to survive all the fuss of removing the graft, leaving it out of my body, and putting it back... a true miracle.

The famous desert, which I had heard so much about, hit me ... Without a doubt this has been the hardest psychological moment after a Hair Transplant.

Here some photos of my evolution at 1 month and a half.

Very nice! Not sure how you got the clinic to send you their pics at the time of surgery, I asked like 5 times and they never sent me anything, I thought that was a policy they had. 😀

You're coming along great Bobby D. We are very close in timing and age.

Saying a prayer to the Hair Gods for you.

Really amazing work, thank you for posting this information. Dr. Couto has to be one of the best in the world.

How bad was your swelling after the procedure? And how long did any swelling last?

Swelling was there but it went away quite fast.

I share some photos of when I turned 2 months and 2 days.
Full desert. And the donor area with shockloss.

I let my beard grow but my wife didn't like it very much 🤣

That has to be the toughest time, especially with the shockloss.

How long before your donor went back to normal?

Photo at 3 months a few hours after going through the "family" hairdresser. I would have continued to let it grow but I need to follow my wife´s orders :P

And here are some of these days when we are already 3 MONTHS AND A HALF.
I have noticed that depending on the light and the time of day, there are photos that I seem to have great hair already :D

Hi,

I know that Dr. Couto has an assistant for the implantation part. Did you see him, or Couto did the whole part?

@Kacan  So that you have a better overall idea, this photo is quite good since you can see the area where the implantation was performed by the other doc.

I hope everyone is having a great summer.

I update after 4 months.
I touch many little hairs and I feel the hair is gaining thickness.
And the donor right now I could say that it is spotless. The socklosse I suffered is history. My wife tells me that how is it possible that they have taken 4000 grafts from back there, she says that it doesn't show at all. That makes me happy, very happy.

Things are going slow but I have great feelings ☺️

A small comparison of my donor at 2 months versus at 4 months now.

Looks incredibly good so far! Are you on finasteride? I know Dr.Couto only takes patients who is on Finasteride, which is a shame because his work is so good.
