Dr. Glenn Charles
As long as you did not see any active bleeding most likely you did not harm any of the transplanted hair follicles. Smoking is never a good idea when you have wounds that need to heal. Now would be a good time to really cut down or quit. At the very least use extreme moderation. Now that you are 1 week post-op I recommend doing what you did on post-op day 2 at least 3 times per day. Do you need a prescription for this? Senior Member HairDew Posted May 21, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted May 21, 2009 Dr. Charles, hahah, can you write me a prescription for that? This way I will tell my wife she ABSOLUTELY HAS to do it now instead of a typical "I have a headache" excuse HAHAHH!

Bill - Seemiller
You've heard the expression it's better to give than receive? In this case, I think the opposite is true and probably a whole lot safer for your newly transplanted hair. :-) I'm sure you'll be fine...just save the rough stuff until later! Senior Member Bushy Posted May 22, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted May 22, 2009 OK, this is just too funny. I make my first post in quite a while, having been attracted to this pretty funny thread. After my post, the main forum refreshes and this is the result: ____________________________________ My blog. Senior Member aaron1234 Posted May 22, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted May 22, 2009 Very interesting Bushy. We should start an investigation on this "coincidence". Senior Member Reverse the Curse Posted May 24, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted May 24, 2009 i guess this proves that guys with more hair get more head. try to get a little more before the shed. it could be 3-4 months before you have your hair back & we all know what it's like to wait that long for it. rtc
