So it happened, I thought its complete bs about side effects and just fear mongering. 10 hrs after second pill I got ED. I never felt this before. I feel like I have no blood flow in that part and libido is terrible

Did you end up continuing with the finasteride? I tried 1 mg every day and got insomnia. Tried 1 mg every other day and still got insomnia.

I came to conclusion I still got a lot of hair to save. I am starting it again, not going to give up, posting to compare after 3 months.

So these before and afters are only using Nizoral?

Yes, the mid section looks nice but crown still thinning. I hope I can recover with finasteride

You’ve responded well to Nizoral. You should start a thread to track your progress, you might be a hyper responder.

I think this would be an excellent idea and thread to follow. Finasteride, etc, is covered so much, yet Nizoral 2% doesn't get much of a guernsey. It would be great to follow the effects of Nizoral 2% alone (even if it is just anecdotal) to give more credibility to the shampoo. Hell I may even use it again if that's the case! 😉🙏

I'm so confused about which ones are before and after. you should start labeling dates for photo/groups of photos and then the treatments. I'm just kind of confused reading through this thread! Just a personal criticism. But it does look like you have some improvement!

On my leaflet it says:

The film-coated tablet must be swallowed whole and must not be separated or crushed

but i've heard people cutting the tablets into smaller pieces?

My doctor told me that to. Does crushing or cutting make the pills less effective ?

Im starting on monday, kinda scared wish me luck!

I got sides until I really put aside the fear. And that is super hard with all the scare campaigns. Once I managed to really get rid of the fear I had no sides and I have had no sides since, but it is really hard to truly ditch those fears. It took me about 6 weeks.

I had "sides" after 0.25mg at start after reading all the fear mongering. Now im on 1mg a day for a week without any sides.

That is true about the fear.  I was getting brain fog and memory issues after the first few months of finasteride.  Mainly I would just keep thinking about these issues, and then the issues would reoccur.  Once I took time to process things internally, I then stopped thinking about it, which made the issues go away.  At least the issues went away to the point where I don't really notice it or it's not causing problems in my life.
