Some doctors suggest not ok use caps any type 1 month after HT? Good friend got such info by doctor after hist HT, maybe someone experienced can say more about it, is safe use cap after HT, i mean when is ok after HT use cap? Point by that doctor who told not ok use cap, was that implanted grafts- recipient arean, donor area too need "breath" more, and not use cap, at least 1 month... For skull cap And Durag? No not ok because your scalp needs to breathe in order to properly recover from the surgery. Also placing a cap on top of recently implanted grafts (recently made puncture wounds) increase the risk of fungal development. 1 Dr. Rahal 28/3/2008 (3425 Grafts / 7035 Hairs) https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/17877-dr-rahal-3425-grafts-28032008-18-months-update/ Dr. Kaan Pekiner 26-28/12/2019 -3895 grafts (2007 FUE + 1888 BHT https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/55853-dr-kaan-pekiner-fuebht-3895-2007-fue-1888-bht-28122019
Senior Member gillenator Posted November 6, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted November 6, 2021 At day 10 the grafts are pretty secure and wearing a loosely knitted hat on a very limited basis should not be an issue as long as it’s not for hours or all day as the recipient area needs to breathe…if you had FUT, I would refrain from wearing a doo-rag to avoid putting any tension on the sutures and strip scar.
