Almost 2 months post op | 2016 grafts

Hello all,

I’m almost 2 months post-op.  Still have some lingering redness, but there has been some growth.  Is this normal?  I though growth would start at around 3 months post-op.  I know the timeline is not rigid, but it’s weird (in a good way if that makes sense) to see growth when I was expecting it at 3-4 months post-op.

Also, I did PRP + stem cells.

Thanks

Is this a complaint lol. I will gladly take growth in 2 months, it can happen. You are probably one of those freaks that will have almost full growth by 6 months. Consider yourself very lucky.

Super early but it does happen ! Which clinic did you go too ? And have you got any pre and post op pics ? Thanks 🙏

Hi John,

I’m currently doing monoxidil 2 times a day since like 3 weeks post op.  No fin, but I want to get on it as soon as I can.

FYI, I’m 28.

Sorry if it seemed like a complaint, by no means I’m complaining about early growth haha.  Just wanted to see if it’s a common ocurrance.  Also wanted to share that my early growth might be due to the PRP & stem cells.

oral or topical minox ? who was the doctor ? happy continued growth

Topical.  No side effects other than some hair growth around my face, but it might be due to me not spraying more adequatlely.  I had my HT at LA FUE clinic.

Just a heads up that it may look slightly unnatural when your growth is complete. They transplanted in rows which doesn't occur in nature. It may very well be undetectable if you have coarse hair and a high density restoration to camoflouge. Just wanted to put it on your radar that this is not how transplanted grafts are supposed to placed for naturalness.

Lol. A nice change of pace seeing a post questioning early growth. :) Happy for you and hope this is a sign of even better things to come sooner rather than later.

The redness lingered for a couple months for me as well, but it did eventually subside. Just make sure you're keeping it out of the sun.
