With DHI the 'slit' is created as the needle penetrates the scalp and the graft is immediately ejected into this opening within a second most likely. Unfortunately, DHI is being used to describe an implanter pen inserting into pre-made slits. For example, Cosmedica's top package, Dr. Acar does incisions and they still use implanters:https://cosmedica.com/dhi-sapphire/ Get More Hair, UKhttps://www.getmorehair.co.uk/micro-sapphire-dhi/ HLC Ankara | 4261 Grafts | Nov 7, 2020 (Hairline) Dr. Bisanga, BHR Clinic in Brussels | 1528 Grafts | Aug 12, 2021 (Crown and Temples)

Seems like a strange move to go to the effort of making pre made slits and then using a pen to implant the grafts regardless

I think his 'USP' as such, is a vacuum assisted punch he uses for extractions - @HugoX has had surgery with him, so he will be in a better place to help advise. Correct, extraction method is as mentioned vacuum assisted punch which there is some info about here, https://www.hairtransplantation.bg/index.php/en/hair-transplant/transplant-methods/the-ava-fue-technique-we-apply. The implanting is done as also mentioned with implanter pen, (no premade slits),. And he does all parts of the surgery himself, exept loading the implanter pens (obviously). He did mention that he will in the future explain a bit more about his extraction method.
