Senior Member aaron1234 Posted May 13, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted May 13, 2021 Gaps (i.e. scars) in the donor area is what you get with FUE. That isn't going to change, unless we're talking shock loss here. Dr. G: 1,000 grafts (FUT) 2008 Dr. Paul Shapiro: 2,348 grafts (FUT) 2009 ~ 1,999 grafts (FUT) 2011 ~ 300 grafts (Scar Reduction) 2013 Dr. Konior: 771 grafts (FUT) 2015 ~ 558 grafts (FUT) 2017 ~ 1,124 grafts (FUE) 2020 My Hair Transplant Journey with Shapiro Medical Group
Administrators Melvin- Admin Posted May 14, 2021 Administrators Share Posted May 14, 2021 Gaps are to be expected when you remove hair. I have gaps. Everyone who undergoes FUE should expect to see some gaps. I’m a paid admin for Hair Transplant Network. I do not receive any compensation from any clinic. My comments are not medical advice. I am assuming this is a temporary thing and will look better over time as the donor fully heals? What are the healing stages of the donor? Please share pics

Regular Member Zodiac Posted May 14, 2021 Author Regular Member Share Posted May 14, 2021 Going forward I'll use a different fade and keep these hairs a little longer. I see scabs and healing marks but that will go away in time
Senior Member giegnosiganoe Posted May 15, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted May 15, 2021 Thanks. Doesn't look bad to me, but yeah FUE will always cause some scarring, or leave some gaps. Did your donor look much different with a similar length pre-op? Any idea what your total donor capacity is?
Armando1979
Looks very good to me also. Is it possible to see the front progress? Thanks!
Regular Member Zodiac Posted May 15, 2021 Author Regular Member Share Posted May 15, 2021 Keep in mind I intentionally used the shortest cut just to see how the donor looks like using direct light to see the scars. It looks fine for everyday purposes. I’ll post progress soon
Senior Member A Fue Good Men Posted May 15, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted May 15, 2021 @Zodiac thank you for sharing pics. What guard is that? I have a feeling if u go up a guard or two it will camouflage things well

Armando1979
Results seem really good so far. I would say the back is not bad at all considering it was FUE. Would it be possible sharing any current front hairline pictures?
