Senior Member Britanium Posted February 7, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted February 7, 2021 I would say your quite young ? First step would be to go a dermatologist who specialises in hair loss. Find out what’s happening ! When did you first notice this loss ?

PleaseHelpMeImDesperate
I'm 16 and noticed this when I asked the barber to cut me a crop top my friends at school sitting behind me told me that my hair is thinning
Senior Member Britanium Posted February 7, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted February 7, 2021 (edited) Certain cuts would show it more. At your young age then you should visit dermatologist like i mentioned. Try and ask your barber for more flattering cuts in future. Your too young to even start considering any meds. Senior Member Britanium Posted February 7, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted February 7, 2021 First step is to investigate what’s happening. And then follow the advice of Dermatologist. This is all you can do for now.

Regular Member mxm56 Posted February 8, 2021 Regular Member Share Posted February 8, 2021 You have to use Propecia and wait for its result, then i think you will need a trasplant as well but your situation will be a bit better and your alopecia will slow down. No this guy is only 16. Nobody should start meds before 18 at least. Fin/Propecia is only recommended for 18+ years. Administrators Melvin- Admin Posted February 8, 2021 Administrators Share Posted February 8, 2021 That is definitely a bald spot. It could be alopecia areata, although, it’s in a part where it’s almost always genetic hair loss. Good idea to consult with a dermatologist first. Where do you live?
