Hi that may be true and may not make any difference but I'm happy they are being proactive and working to find a solution.

Since you are a slow grower, could take 18 months to see full results. Check out this post... Thanks so much for that link 🙏 I watched the video and it's really reassuring. Hopefully I get the growth before then but it's a long process and unfortunately I'm definitely in the slow growth group, buts it's nice to know I'm not alone.
Administrators Melvin- Admin Posted June 30, 2021 Administrators Share Posted June 30, 2021 Considering where you were, the change is pretty drastic. 8 months there’s still time left. Senior Member Classygentleman Posted July 1, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted July 1, 2021 Hey @BA-FUE hows the donor looking? keen to understand what they have said in relation to the donor. this picture you shared previously did look like possible over harvested as if shock loss you would have expected this to be gone by month

The picture on the left was taken 3 months AFTER the FUE and doesn't show where I started from before I had the HT. I will attach the picture of my hair taken a few days before I had the HT and that would be more accurate to compare to the picture on the right.

That cannot be discounted. It’s getting better. So best to give it the full 12 months and yes I think PRP could definitely help with the shock loss. 1 I’m a paid admin for Hair Transplant Network. Regular Member Kingthin Posted July 2, 2021 Regular Member Share Posted July 2, 2021 (edited) There’s a few Hair Dr patients on here(myself included) and a cluster on the UK forum also currently slow growing and awaiting the 12 month mark for satisfactory results. Here’s hoping they all come good. Just got to wait out the 12 months and hope for the best. Edited July 2, 2021 by Kingthin

The donor area I suspect is still the same. It all depends on how you have your hair cut. I've let it grow longer than I usually have it. I used to have it cut to a 0.5 and now I think its more of a grade 2 or 3 which helps to hide any patches that may be there. The lighting probably isn't the best so I will try take some more in natural light and update soon.

Hard to tell from those pictures as very blurry and dark. do you have any in the light? have you spoken to the Dr about your concerns?

You have to remember a lot of hairs were removed from there that will never regrow. Expectations have to be realistic. I'm more concerned about the recipient area and want to see more hair there. It's just a waiting game.
Regular Member BA-FUE Posted July 29, 2021 Author Regular Member Share Posted July 29, 2021 (edited) Hi 9 months today. I have attached pictures. Still having weekly laser and had 2 sessions of prp. I've also attached some of the donor area. You can still see where the grafts have been taken from but its much better hidden with hair cut at a grade 3. Would be even harder to notice with a grade 4. Edited July 29, 2021 by BA-FUE

I think I will have to upload some better pictures in some natural lighting. The bathroom light is very misleading. I will try get some natural light pictures taken tomorrow.
