Question - Start of baldness?

Recommended Posts

Hey.

Firstly, Two months ago I noticed a circle with baldness behind the head.

I took some pictures of the back of the head and noticed some spaces in my hair... is it normal ?

No one in my family has a baldness.. even grandfathers .

Is it a start of baldness? what to do ?

That looks like alopecia areata to me, not typical male pattern baldness.  Go see a doctor as soon as possible and you'll likely receive a cortisone injection.

Yes it can manifest in other areas...as I agree with several of the others that it is alopecia areata.

Find a dermatologist who is experienced in treating various forms of hair loss.

Lastly, there is also visual evidence of your crown having diffused loss...finasteride and minoxidil is most efficient in the crown.
