Regular Member ck432 Posted October 11, 2019 Regular Member Share Posted October 11, 2019 (edited) Had my surgery with Dr. Cooley on July 16, 2019. I've read several posts and looked at lots of photos. Here are some pics after the procedure, then monthly until now. The procedure was really painless. They take good care of you. You watch movies while they are placing the graphs. They stop and you eat some lunch as well. Cool stuff. I want to say it was about a 12 hour procedure. The next day after was great as well. They clean you up and talk to you about care etc. Looking forward to seeing the results. This was right after the procedure This was the next day after the followup/cleaning. You can see where the graphs were placed. This was 11 days after the procedure. (Left side) Showing how the graphs have started growing. Hope when they come back after the shedding it is this full. This was 11 days after the procedure. (Right side) This is the first month mark. (Right side) As you can see, most of the transplanted hair has fallen out. This is the first month mark. (Left side) As you can see, most of the transplanted hair has fallen out. This is the second month mark (Right side) This is the second month mark (Left side) I noticed after a haircut that I have some shockless in the back. I didn't take any pictures of the scar. The scar is barely noticeable. I looked for a while before I found it. I will take some pics of the scar and put those up soon. So far that is where I am. I will post pics on each months mark for a while. I am hoping the hairs come back as good as it was looking before the shedding. Are you able to get a picture of that scar? How does the back look in general? Edited March 20, 2020 by Steeeve

I can try to get a pic of the scar soon and post it.
Senior Member OliverAtom Posted March 31, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted March 31, 2020 That is a nice result considering the previous state and the fine hair. Hope to see more photos soon
Regular Member ck432 Posted June 10, 2023 Author Regular Member Share Posted June 10, 2023 Haven't been here in a while. The hair looks the same. Happy with the results overall except the "horseshoe" indention in my hair at the back of my head. Longer or shorter it is about the same. When it is longer I can mess it up a little and it covers it some. Going to check on what can be done to fix this. It's my understanding that comes from the way it was stitched up. Can you see the scar at low guards? Like is it wide?

That’s my biggest worry with fut is how do you hide it? Fue into the scar isn’t always guaranteed but that’s all I can’t think of

Regular Member ck432 Posted July 31, 2023 Author Regular Member Share Posted July 31, 2023 Just went to Dr. Cooley for some advice on the matter of the scar and he suggested silicone injections along the area to improve the looks and I must say it has. It has not completely went away but it did help. Tried to take pictures and cannot seem to get a decent picture. After getting to his office, the office area was lit up pretty brightly, it was difficult to see the "horseshoe" indention as clearly as I had at home and in the pictures above. He wants to see me back there in 90 days. Must give him props for taking care of me.
