Senior Member MarieEvo Posted September 10, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted September 10, 2019 #BeforeAndAfterMondays This patient underwent an autologous (her own) platelet rich plasma (PRP) treatment with Dr. Carlos K. Wesley. With this non-surgical approach to treating hair loss, the patient was able to reverse the biologic course of the thousands of miniaturized follicles atop her head and generate more hair fullness. Dr. Wesley previously delivered The patient returned 8 months after PRP treatment series and images of the patient can be seen below. Similar patient hair transformations with Dr. Wesley and his team may also be viewed. I have worked with 26 different hair restoration doctors throughout my career. Senior Member Shifty Posted September 11, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted September 11, 2019 I am thinking about PRP and I don't see that much a difference here. Link to what I did to grow my hair back without a transplant. 2 year update.
Senior Member Mycroft Posted September 11, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted September 11, 2019 There's a definite narrowing of the part line here; more "solid" and less jagged. This lady doesn't look like she was suffering major hair loss to begin with, but the frontal part line was probably the most noticeable area of thinning, and that seems to have filled in fairly well. LonelyGraft
I do see a slight thickening. I’ve read minoxidil works better in women than men. Was this patient advised to try minoxi?
