Regular Member Rofler Posted August 10, 2016 Regular Member Share Posted August 10, 2016 I have dried wounds on HT place. HT was about 1,5 month ago. Should I strip off that or better not touch? I am afraid that these dried wounds can interfere with the growth of new hair.

Senior Member hairlosscpa Posted August 10, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted August 10, 2016 Who was your surgeon? Work does not look refined and your first pic may be folliculitis. Maybe check with your HT doctor? 1st Procedure, Oct. 2012 - 1,704 grafts FUT w/Dr. True 2nd Procedure, Sept. 2015 - 2500 grafts FUE w/Dr. Vories FUE Progress - http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/180966-my-experience-w-dr-vories-2-500-grafts.html FUE 1 year result - http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/184716-1-year-results-2-500-grafts-w-dr-vories.html

Senior Member MrGio-WHTCClinic Posted August 11, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted August 11, 2016 Normal showering and gentle scrubbing with a soft fabric should help the scabbing shed. Regular Member Rofler Posted August 11, 2016 Author Regular Member Share Posted August 11, 2016 MrGio, but there is transplanted hair under this skin. I am afraid that I can pull it out with a crust.

Senior Member Louisjams Posted August 12, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted August 12, 2016 Could be persistent crusting combined with some folliculitis or other superficial infection. Good skin hygiene is key and you should call your doc about if they think you need oral or topical antibiotics.
Regular Member Rofler Posted August 13, 2016 Author Regular Member Share Posted August 13, 2016 Yes, I have sent these photos him. HT Doctor said just wait it will peel by itself later. It shows after I slept lying on transplanted hair (about 1 month and 1 week after HT operation).
Senior Member gillenator Posted August 16, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted August 16, 2016 If it gets any worse, I would see a medical professional as soon as possible. Regular Member Rofler Posted August 17, 2016 Author Regular Member Share Posted August 17, 2016 (edited) No. I have cleaned it today with few (7-8) follicules. It were just wounds. So someone said that this HT operation has been done badly? It was 1500 grafts like doctor said. These photos shows how it was looking right after operation (other side looks the same) and donor area 2 weeks after operation.
