So here with have the first online Hasson & Wong FUE case to present to you. This patient from California in his late 20's came to see Dr Wong to restore his hairline. He wore his hair very short and had a desire to continue to do so. FUE suited him better for this reason. He had coarse Asian hair and a manual .85mm punch was used. 1202 grafts were used to thicken his hairline.

The photos represent the immediate post op placement and extraction sites and I intend to update this thread with his progress.

I will be documenting more FUE cases that we have been performing very soon.

FUE from H&W!! WOW! I had to do a double take when I read the thread title. Haha.

I the H&W website says they use manual when appropriate and ARTAS in other cases?

However, I think KO brings up a good point with the use of the word "manual:" this refers to non-motorized tools. It doesn't refer to delivery by forceps -- and I've seen this used before; doctors who use motorized devices, but deliver with forceps and call it "manual" -- or any other aspect of the technique.

KO,

Thanks for your interest. When I say manual I mean manual hand punch not motorized or the Artas. As I am in the UK I can't say for sure who did the extractions but I am leaving to meet Dr Wong in London soon as he is here for consultations this weekend. I will find out more about who did the extractions in this particular case and get back to you.

I'm very excited by this. The extraction sites look ideal and it's no surprise the recipient area is clean and refined.

I look forward to following this patient's progress and to more FUE from H&W.

The extractions pattern looks good and looking forward to more FUE cases.

2 poor unsatisfactory hair transplants performed in the UK.

Based on vast research and meeting patients, I travelled to see Dr Feller in New York to get repaired.
