Senior Member FUE2014 Posted March 8, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted March 8, 2015 (edited) Hey guys, im three months post op (FUE with Dr Feriduni 3500 grafts). I was at a BBQ last night, people got a bit drunk and started shaving their hair, I should have said no, but I was stupid and went ahead and this drunk idiot shaved it very roughly (not at all gentle) with a one guard. Fast forward 12 hours and my recipient area is a bit blotchy and sensitive to the touch. Is there any chance at all that the grafts could be damaged or pulled three months post op from an aggressive use of the clippers? hairguy77
3 months after? I dont think it is even possible that long after the operation. Usually after 10 days or so they grafts are in and secured, another 80 days after you shouldnt worry at all in my non doctor opinion
Senior Member KO Posted March 8, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted March 8, 2015 WTF? I guess this is another "pro" for FUE then? 3382 FUE Lupanzula http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/185463-3382-grafts-lupanzula.html
Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted March 8, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted March 8, 2015 I'm confident your hair will be fine. Three months is a long time and the grafts are perfectly safe at this stage. David - Former Forum Co-Moderator and Editorial Assistant I am not a medical professional. Senior Member voxman Posted March 8, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted March 8, 2015 I would be more concerned about the type of BBQ's you get invited to from now on. WTF? I'm serious. Senior Member Blake Bloxham Posted March 8, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted March 8, 2015 Huh. Working here 5 years now, but this is the first time I've heard this one. I'll echo the above; you didn't damage the grafts 3 months out. I can't, however, recommend frequent drunk head shaving sessions in the future. I don't think it will hurt your hair, per say, but you probably won't get the best haircuts ; ). Senior Member rev333 Posted March 9, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted March 9, 2015 At three months, It was probably blotchy and sensitive before the BUZZ (pun intended) Mine was Hey at least you had no scar show Good thinking
Senior Member FUE2014 Posted March 9, 2015 Author Senior Member Share Posted March 9, 2015 Yeah no obvious evidence of scarring at the back, only a keen eye from someone educated in HT's would prob notice. 99.9% of others wouldn't.

Senior Member Garageland Posted March 9, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted March 9, 2015 Sounds like an interesting party! As others said I am sure you will be fine at this stage. --- Former patient and representative for Hasson & Wong.
