Just a heads up to watch out for some hack surgeon in Irvine / Las Vegas that is using H&W pictures on his website, ModenaHair.com. The surgeon is Amir Yazdan.

The pictures are cropped to show only the hairline but the signature blue background gave it right away.

Thanks for the heads up I appreciate it. We have experienced it many times over the last few years from stealing the odd photo usually Bobman or Nicnitro but this You Tube video below was the craziest and most blatant one I have seen which steals so many of our results. Perhaps they are saying come to Hasson & Wong :)

And here's me on MindKandy getting involved in a balding solution that horrifies hair doctors. I am waiting on my fee naturally.

It seems my face has gone viral advertising a hair loss product called Vitahar and Brivon. I want to put on record I have never used (or even heard of until last week) of these products and do not endorse them.

I came across this thread recently even though its old. I read this forum but don't post a whole lot. I had a hair transplant back in 2013 with Dr. Yazdan which I documented on this forum. My results after a year were way better than I had expected. Through the entire year and all my visits Dr. Yazdan was awesome. He was also the only doctor I saw that discussed medical management options with me and didn't just try to "sell" me a hair transplant. Since my surgery I have seen him yearly and I have had 3 close friends have surgeries done by him all with great results.

Although I can't find this photo on his website, I think part of the issue is that most doctors have an outside company build their website for them and the company ends up using stock pictures etc. and it ends up on the internet. That photo seems to be a filler image on a header. Not in the actual "before & after section" in which for example my before and after results are.

I don't agree with stolen photos, etc but calling a good surgeon a hack because of a photo in the background of a header on a website I find a little extreme especially since this surgeon did wonders for my hair. I will definitely bring this up with him when I go in for my next office visit in a few months.

Whatever dude.

It's deceptive and no moral doctor would condone such practices. I'm sure he never reviews every word on his website either - 'cause that would be the correct thing to do.

Except someone who wants more money for their practice - regardless of how they build it.

Shameful - but thanks for coming in here and being a good little cheerleader.

Go away.

Well your response speaks volumes regarding your character. I was merely sharing my experience regarding a doctor that helped me and close friends of mine. An online forum such as this is to exchange information, not attack other members. I prefer not to lower myself to your level and argue with an idiot online. As the saying goes..."Entertain a clown and you become part of the circus" Cheers Mate :)

LMFAO @ JohnRosh....right, you just happened to appear back here FIVE YEARS from your last post to stick up for this surgeon? Who is the bigger hack? The surgeon or JohnRosh (probably the same person).

JoshRosh,

Thanks for posting and sharing. If you don't mind, let's see some photos, before and after surgery. Ultimately, there was some deception based on the stolen images used above. But that doesn't mean he can't deliver a good hair transplant. So feel free to start a topic to share your experience and share your photos. But I do hope it sounds more like a real experience and not a promotional post.

Best wishes,

Bill

Hi Bill, thanks for your response. Just because I don't post on the forum doesn't mean that I don't frequent the forum and read it. It also doesn't mean I'm doing promotional posts etc because I choose to post my experience with the surgeon being discussed in the thread. Ive attached a photo from my surgery and my after that I have on my computer. I think my previous photos should be still archived on this forum. It's too late in the night for me to start digging up pics. I also prefer not to post my face. My entire hairline was advanced I think more than an inch.

Again, I don't condone or agree with not using photos that are not your work. However, I don't find that photo on the site. For all we know the site could have been developed by an outside company and put up and then removed during review by the doctor and his staff. There can always be more to a story and what I didn't like was seeing a good doctor that spent so much time with me, doing my surgery, and helping me with an emotional aspect of my life (my hair) being called a hack etc.

You may want to check out this article:

"When an ambulance arrived, Yazdan insisted on continuing to perform CPR and ride in the ambulance to the ER"

Seems like a pretty stand up guy to me. Lets not be so quick to rush judgement and attack doctors and other members of a forum. At the end of the day we are all here, battling hair loss, and need good doctors to help us.
