Senior Member JustOne Posted November 24, 2014 Author Senior Member Share Posted November 24, 2014 Okay here are a couple photos . I've seen a few sprout on the left side of the hairlIne but nothing on the right yet . Trying to stay patient and positive . But after multiple bad results , I'm kind of terrified this one won't work out either . I did go back to the office for a wash for the first 4 days after the procedure to make sure everything was in place . Maybe I'll go slower as it's not a virgin scalp ect. Well here's to hoping the hairs sprout soon ! Wish me luck guys =)
Senior Member JustOne Posted November 28, 2014 Author Senior Member Share Posted November 28, 2014 Well im officially 3.5 months in and scared to death that my grafts wont grow . I know this is the hardest time to get through , but Id hoped for some more grafts to break through the skin at least. This is my 3rd transplant to just the frontal area so you can see why im so anxious ...I went to one of the best doctors available and followed all the post op instruction perfectly. Feeling pretty down about it right now , i dont know if ill ever have a normal looking hairline again ... the first one left me with plugs , the 2nd was a repair which was much better but many of the grafts didnt grow in , this is my 3rd and its not looking to promising right now . anyways i needed to vent . ill post again around 4.5 months .. maybe ill have some popping through by then.

Has anyone experienced slow growth like this and had a good result at the 1 year? thanks
Senior Member Garageland Posted December 16, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted December 16, 2014 Justone, relax you are just at the start at 4 months, everyone grows at different rates. You need to stop panicking and let things happen at their own pace. Most patients I see at 4 months are just starting to see some growth and things are a world apart from where they are at the 1 year mark. 4 Months is not considered slow growth expect some decent changes in the next couple of months. I have seen this many times before with patients of Dr Hasson's. --- Former patient and representative for Hasson & Wong. Senior Member CAMPBELL Posted January 7, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted January 7, 2015 Hang in there chum! I'm 7 months and there are still hairs popping through only now. I know it's hard but give it 12 to 18 months for full effect. Good Luck!

Senior Member Garageland Posted April 29, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted April 29, 2015 Justone, I am sorry to hear this. I have just sent you a pm. I would encourage you to contact the clinic with some clear photos so Dr Hasson can assess. If you are able to get to the clinic that of course would be better. Let me know if I can help. --- Former patient and representative for Hasson & Wong.
