Diesel2513 Posted May 2, 2014 Share Posted May 2, 2014 Hey Fellas I underwent 3550 FUT grafts with Dr. Konior on Tuesday the 29th. I would really like to add something new to the conversation, and how wonderful and amazing he and his staff is, however it would seem to be redundant, as everybody raves about about him, and everybody is correct. They are in fact a well oiled machine, and I would be hard pressed to find anybody else on planet Earth, that comes to his expertise, professionalism, and realistic expectations. I arrived at his office at around 6AM, and met with Lisa, who went over everything with me before the doctor came in. Once I met with Dr. Konior, we went over everything imaginable. He gave me a fine tip comb to mark out my desired hair hairline. We spent a good half an hour deciding what would be perfect for the structure of my face. He drew up a hairline a million times better than I ever could. After that we shaved the recipient zone. took my blood pressure, and headed into the Operating Room. From this point on, much of the day was a blur. We only had a about three breaks during the whole procedure, One was to change the setup of the operating room, one was to use the bathroom, another was to eat lunch. There may have been one more but I just can't remember. We were all done by 735PM. My only advice for people looking for hair restoration surgery is to DO YOUR RESEARCH!! I had my initial consultation with Dr. Konior back in May '11. He spent well over an hour with me talking about everything in terms of the process. I would have had the procedure with him alot longer ago, but life and and many student loans got in the way. Don't let the fear of travel or cost get into the way of picking a qualified surgeon, because you will regret it in the long run. I have attached pre-op and day 3 post up result photos. I will update every month I was able to take off work for three weeks, but after that I will probably only update once per month, due to the fact I work really long hours. I will try to answer as many questions, PM or through the board as I can. Cheers to every one currently on the same journey as myself!
