hey everyone, just got back home from having 2473 fue grafts from dr feriduni.

Lil bio about me, 32years old been losing hair slowly since I was 22..

still had a good amount of hair on top but I wanted to stay ahead of the problem, I am aware I will need further procedures in the future, this time around I wanted to frame my face. I went with pretty conservative approach, wanted to make sure I would have a natural look and hairline for now and the future..

ive attached pics and please feel free to ask questions, I will do my best to update and answer any questions.

ive been a longtime lurker on these forums and because of all those who have posted and shared stories it helped me go ahead and take the plunge, so I want to do my part to pay it forward.

I chose dr feriduni because ive read he is top 3 in the world so I figured if im doing his im going to the best, worse thing anyone can do is go with a leser skilled surgeon because of distance and price. if it comes out less desirable then you will always kick yourself in the future.

dr feriduni and his staff were very warming, friendly and professional, I felt very comfortable and would recommend them to anyone.

Thanks for sharing, your post op pics look very solid. I like the temple point work. Interesting that the frontal area of your hairline was left untouched, I think this was a good idea but I'm curious did you leave it be because it already looks natural and to save grafts?

I'll be seeing Feriduni next month and will be aiming for a design very similar to yours temple points and all. I have some Q's if you don't mind,

1. How flexible was Feriduni with the hairline design? Did it seem like it was his way or the highway, or do you feel he was open to suggestions and modifications?

2. Do you know how many grafts were used just on your temple points?

3. Is there anything you didn't pack that after the procedure you would have liked to have? Anything the clinic did or didn't provide that you did not see coming?

4. How much does Cristian bench?

Hey rootz,

Be happy to answer, the reason the front of hairline was left untouched was because I already had a good amount of hair there and dr feriduni said we shouldn't pack grafts In a so dense area.

1. The dr is very flexible with design, he actually first drew the temples closed off and I'm the one who thought it would be a better idea to have them slightly open as I want a more natural looking hairline. Also I don't have a big donor so I didn't want to waste precious grafts on a low aggressive hairline.

2. I'm not sure how many were used in each temple, maybe someone from the clinic can post it on here, its def ok with me.

3.the clinic does a great job providing you with everything you need and answering any questions, I guess Iwould of packed some movies cause there was nothing in English on tv and those first 2 days you don't want to move and risk bumping your head.

4. Cristian isn't very big but he looks in shape, I'd say his max is around 215-225. Haha

Thanks for sharing - great choice of doc!

What is your plan for your next procedure?

Well not really thinking bout that yet.

Going to have to wait and see how these results turn out but I'm sure in future I will need to touch up hairline and temple points as well as fill in natural hair on top and crown I will lose with age..

Much appreciated for the answers, helps give me an idea of what to expect. I'm not sure if I can out lift 215-225 to be honest, need to get to training.

Look forward to seeing your progress pics, if you plan to post em

hey guys quick update, im 15 days out.

scabs are all gone, ive lost a few of the transplanted hairs but majority have stayed on. I don't really have redness, Aloe Vera helped out a lot! I actually went to work and a family gathering and had everyone just say "wow you buzzed your hair", even had one cousin say out loud "well at least your not going bald" Which gave me a lil mini Boner inside haha

No one knows I had anything done and it really does look very natural so far, I realize these hairs will fall out before we start to grow but man it felt good.

im happy with the design, didn't really go to aggressive, I wanted to take the more natural and not noticeable approach, less is more if you will. I kind of rather keep doing small procedures and stay ahead of the thing/balding areas rather then wait til I lose a large amount then have a larger procedure where everyone would then notice.

I applied aloe vera 2 times a day and that helped everything stay hydrated, took my vitamins, and was really really scared of shampooing but I softly dabbed shampoo and then rinsed off by pouring water into a cup and rinsing.

Now at post 14days I am rubbing gently and sleeping semi normal, I try to still sleep upright a bit.

any questions or anything im here and happy to answer..

Thanks for following up, I look forward to seeing your progress.

I think you have a bit of redness but it is covered up by the grafts that have not yet shed. Once they shed I think you'll see more redness. I will be getting temple work done as well, I think that will be the hardest part to conceal/hide.
